ARVI ff - You are the world to me- note - Pg. 8

Hi friends. I am one of those who are head over heels in
love with ARVI/ ASHVIK. Here is my thought as ff. Do read and comment. It
depends on you whether I have to continue or not.

<font size="4" color="#9900FF">A
girl of 23 years of age came running to the hall of her home where she found
her parents sitting and having tea with some usual chit chat. She dashed
towards her mom who gave her a "I-know-what-you-want-to-say" look. As soon as
she came to her mom, she shouted," mom, how can you do this to me? I just don't
know you fixed my marriage with someone who I hardly know". </font>

<font size="4" color="#9900FF">Her
mom replied patiently," my dear, one day or the other you have to leave this
house getting married. How long will you stay here? They are good family beta.
Damadji too looks as a good person. At least for us, please accept this rishta".</font>

<font size="4" color="#9900FF">"Par
aai, it's not about leaving this house. It's also about..." Oh no! What
have I done? I was to tell mom about him. How can I be so reckless? Suddenly, she
ran to her room with tears pricking in her eyes leaving a confused mom and dad
behind.</font>

CHARACTER SKETCH

Arjun Kirloskar- Only son of DK and Ashna Kirloskar. A handsome guy who can make any girls fall for him. Purvi's classmate. Don't know about Purvi's crush on him.

Purvi Deshmukh- Only daughter of Manav and Archana Deshmukh. Had a deep crush on Arjun Kirloskar, with time, it turned as love. She is a sweet, charming and bubbly girl. An apple of her parent's eye as she is their only daughter. Arjun's classmate. For her, love and relationship means everything.

Digvijay Kirloskar(DK)- Father of Arjun. A wealthy businessman in Mumbai. Family friend of Manav Deshmukh. A kind person. Loves Arjun to the core. Wants Arjun to take over his business.

Ashna Kirloskar- Mother of Arjun. Loves her husband and son a lot. Will always stand by her husband, no matter what comes in their way.

Manav Deshmukh- Father of Purvi. A wealthy businessman in Mumbai. Family friend of DK Kirloskar. His only dream is to see Purvi happy throughout her life.

Archana Deshmukh- Wife of Manav Deshmukh. Mother of Purvi. Always wants the welfare of her daughter.

Ashita- Best friend and classmate of Purvi. Knows Purvi's crush on Arjun. Loves Aakash.

Aakash- Arjun's friend, Ashita's lover.

Vinay- Fiancee of Purvi.

Vijay and Aparna- Parents of Vinay.

More characters will be introduced as per the proceeding of the story.

Hi friends... here is the first part...

PART 1

She ran straight to her room and closed the door. After confirming that she will not be heard by anyone, she broke down crying. "Why Purvi??? Why? You very well know that he doesn't feel the same way you feel for him. By this time, he would have found someone who will fill his life with love. Why are you behaving like a fool by having feelings on him even now? It has been two years that you saw him. You don't know where he is, what he is doing now. Nothing. Also, you know he hates you. Instead of wasting your life waiting for a man who will never come back, who doesn't know that you are waiting here to accept him and spend rest of your life with him, why can't you think about this rishta? At least, your parents will be happy with your decision. You can't live like this for your whole life. You have to move on. After all, it's just ONE... SIDE... LOVE..." She broke down more.

**At the same time** Downstairs**

Manav: Archana, What have happened that Purvi ran without saying anything?

Archana: I really don't know what is running in her mind. Every time we speak about marriage, she denies it saying I am not interested' or is it an age to get married'. Whatever happens, I will somehow make her agree this time.

Manav: I know how you are feeling. But, it's her life too. We can't make her agree to this by forcing.

Archana: You said right. We have to find out why she doesn't want to get married. It just can't be that she will leave us and go.

Manav: We will ask to her later dear. Now please leave this topic.

**Dinner Time**

Manav, Archana and Purvi were eating in the dining table silently. Manav waited for Purvi to finish her dinner first. After that, he asked Purvi to come to the hall.

Purvi just followed Manav and sat opposite to him in the sofa with Archana near him; both looking at her. She was blankly staring at the floor knowing what is going to come.

Manav slowly started," Beta, You very well know what I am gonna talk about. I and your mom have only one dream- to see you get married and lead a happy life. Please dear, you can tell me what is in your mind. We want you to be happy. See this alliance. If you are happy with it, we will proceed. Else we will search for some other groom. But this marriage will not happen until you agree".

Purvi listened to all those Manav said and then said in a soft voice," I trust you baba. You can fix the alliance. I don't have any objection in it".

Manav and Archana were very happy hearing this. "Acha. Then, I have to say some words about your future husband to you. His name is Ra..."

Before he could complete, Purvi said, "He will surely be a nice guy baba. After all, it's you two who selected him. So I can marry him with my eyes closed." Saying this, she made her way to her room with a heavy heart.

**In the Groom's house**

Aparna came fast happily to her husband Vijay. "Please be slow dear. You are coming as if you are going to catch a flight".

"Oh! So you want me to pack up and go somewhere so that you can enjoy here?" she showed fake anger to him and pulled his ears.

"Acha baba... Sorry. How can I be happy without my beautiful and pyaari wife?" Vijay teased.

Aparna- "I know about you very well. After all, biwi hoon mein aap ki. Wo baath ab chodiye. I came to share a happy news with you."

Vijay- "If it so, then say soon yaar. Mujhe bhi celebrate karna hai".

Aparna- "Woh kya hai na, your friend Manav called saying they are happy to get their daughter married to our son".

Vijay- "Wah appu... That means, our Vinay beta will soon get married."

Aparna- "Ya. Now I have to say this to Vinay. Where is he? Ghar mein kabhi nahi rehathi"

Just then, a guy was entering their home. Soon, the news was conveyed to him. His happiness knew no bounds. After all, he is going to become the heir of such a big business empire.

**In Purvi's Room**

Purvi was standing opposite to the mirror. She looked at her reflection and tried to smile. "Good Purvi. At least now you thought about your parents. Slowly you can get over it and will be happy with your husband." She went to sleep which was very far for her.

But, her inner heart was asking her, will she ever be happy with this marriage?

PART 2

It was a pleasant morning. Purvi woke up with a happy face. Of course she will be. Who will not be excited about their first day in college? Archana came in with a coffee in her hands. "Aaa...iii" shouted Purvi jumping to the floor from her bed. "Dhyaan se, Purvi" feared Archana. "Aai, this is my first day in college. Mujhe yakeen hi nahi ho raha hai. I am so excited" exclaimed Purvi.

"Haan haan... Badh mein hum yeh sab bathein karenge. Ab jakar jaldhi se thayaar ho ja. It's already 7", said Archana.

"Oh my God! I have to rush. Have to be there as soon as possible", saying this, Purvi rushed towards the washroom with her towel.

After about an hour, Purvi was fully ready wearing a yellow anarkali with her hair let loose. She put only minimal make-up. Anyone who saw her will be able to say only one word "Marvellous".

She reached the dining table and soon took some bite from the sandwich. With food in her mouth, she ran towards the door screaming "Bye Aai..." "Array Purvi... Eat something and go", replied a concerned mother.

"It's already late Aai. I don't want to be late in my first class even. Don't worry. It's applicable only for day 1. From tomorrow, I will eat fully. Ok!" saying this with a wink, Purvi hurried to the door. Her mom's "Yeh ladki bhi na" dint even reach her ears.

**College**

Purvi entered the college with a little fear holding her bag tight. She took small small steps towards the main block. Albeit the main block was only a little far, it was as if a kilometre for her. Whilst walking, she took a quick glance around her. Some seniors were ragging the juniors whereas some were discussing about their own life. Her fear increased. She was unconsciously praying that she should not be ragged and was walking with her eyes closed.

Suddenly, she hit her head in the rock on the way. Wait! From where did the rock come? That too in the college? She opened one eye and took a look. "Oh no! It's a man. What happens if he is your senior? Purvi! You are gone"

She took a look at him. "Oh man! What a body! I bet, he goes to the gym every second day", she thought. Coming to her sense, she chided herself. "You collided with him and also, drooling over him? If he knows this, then you will face your hell today dear"

Purvi raised her head to his face. His face was quite familiar to her. But, she couldn't remember where she saw him. "Awesome", she whispered such that only she could hear. "Excuse me!" he cleared his throat. Purvi's words suddenly struck in her throat.

"Fresher hai kya?" he asked with some arrogance. "Ji" is the response she can give.

"Which department?" he enquired.

"Civil", she replied.

"Hmm. Keep this book in 3^rd year Aero. Last bench near the window"

Purvi blinked as if to register what she has heard. She thought a scene will be created. But, this guy is saying her to keep the book in his place. Being not able to see his eyes, she grabbed his book and ran as fast as she could. She placed the book in his place not before peeping into the first page of his book. "Saagar Deshpande, 3^rd year Aero" it read.

**Present** Purvi's Bed Room**

Purvi got up from her bed with a smile on her face recalling those moments. Soon her smile vanished thinking that it's her wedding today. She tried hard to bring Vinay's face to her mind. But, consistently it was him who always occupied that place. With a sigh, she took her towel and went to the wash room.

An hour later, she found herself sitting before the mirror with her friends surrounded ribbing her about her marriage. She tried to stay smiling. But, couldn't. Her makeup is over, yet her friends were still there proceeding the teasing ceremony. Everyone in Purvi's home was waiting for the baaraat to arrive.

**Downstairs** Entrance**

In the downstairs, guests have started to come. Manav and Archana were receiving the guests with happiness flooding in their face; The happiness that their daughter is getting married; The happiness that she will be leading a happy life with her in-laws; The happiness that she will now no more called as a girl, but as a woman; The happiness that their daughter will now onwards become mature and will be managing her new home was clearly visible in their faces. They say, when your heart is happy, it will be reflected in your face. Same is the case for them, unknown with the fact that their own daughter is unhappy with this.

While welcoming the guests, Manav noted a well-known face coming towards him followed by his wife. He soon said to Archana and she too accompanied him to welcome the special guest.

" Aao DK! You have come to the wedding so soon as always", teased Manav.

"What can I do? I was ready before a couple of hours. But these women na. They are getting ready for nearly five to six hours and then too, they still say, Why are you hurrying up like this? Because of you, I have to come without finishing'", said DK teasing his wife. Manav and Archana were laughing seeing Ashna throwing angry glare towards DK.

"So, you say that we women do over make-up?", Ashna was ready to give her husband a peace of mind. Before that, she was interrupted by Manav.

"Acha bhabi! You can have your nok-jhok afterwards. Kam se kham andhar toh aayiye na", said Manav welcoming them inside.

"Waise bhi, where is Arjun yaar? He is playing hide and seek with us for the last two years. You could have called him too. Purvi is his classmate cum friend. He should have been here na" asked Archana.

"Arrey.. Arjun bhi aaya hamare saath. But, he got a call and was talking. So we came in. He will be here within a minute or so", told Ashna.

"Will be nahi maa. I am already here", came a voice from their back. All turned to see the owner of the voice.

There stood a handsome guy with a simple blue sherwani. He was simple yet it was enough to sweep all the girls off their feet. "Arrey... Arjun beta. Kaisa hai tu? It has been so long that we met", Manav and Archana enquired him.

Arjun: "I am fine. How are you both? I was missing you a lot"

Manav: "Well beta. Have you finished your studies?"

Arjun: "Yes uncle. I have completed my MBA and now, no more going anywhere"

Archana: "That's really a nice thing. Please be comfortable with yourself. We will check other guests and will meet you soon"

Ashna: "No problem dear. You have to look others too na. I will check Purvi by that time" Saying this, she went upstairs. Soon, Purvi's parents too went to receive other guests. Arjun went to see his friends whom he met long ago. DK went to take a seat near his Business friends.
