The dialogs have been fabulous this week, especially when Anandi talks about no romance in old age - that really threw Shiv off (he was probably wondering how she could think even one step ahead of him along those lines). At the same time, the acting has been even more fantastic, especially Shiv/Sid.
I actually like Anandi like this, her open expression of feelings towards Shiv and putting him before all else, including Amol. Shiv is very surprised with her forward behavior, especially the way she talks to him on the phone, but it's clear he loves this unexplored, hidden side of her.
I couldn't help feeling for Shiv when he was disappointed about not going to the movies with her. For once she wants and demands that he take her out on holidays, to the movies, etc. but again, he has to be the understanding one.
They've been married long enough, and it's still always Shiv who takes the initiative romance-wise. Where is the firebrand Anandi we saw before marriage? I expected there to be give and take in this department too and her to be more active in terms of showing her love for Shiv. I don't mean Anandi has to go all out crazy, but rather than taking Shiv for granted, she should also make a move on him from time to time to show her attraction.
In a way, DB is actually doing them both a favor by giving Shiv a chance to see how bold and passionate his wife can be. Thanks DB! Let's hope the CVs show more in-person romantic moves from Anandi rather than just shocking her husband on the phone, before Shiv goes into detective mode.
