Updated main posts. More thoughts ...
@Hope ... I agree with you, I'm a little lost as to where the CVs are going. On reflection, I will give them a little leeway, I think the PH also is not sure yet about the axing of the show ... hence it is difficult for them to write scenes ... the speed if the show is going to wrap in a month will be faster than if they have four more months to go. And if they don't yet know how much time they have, it's tough on them to plan anything at all.
So the elaborate set up to get Rudra into Mayrah's room for the trip fall catch ... but Myrah backs off immediately on hearing warning bells ... again, keeping tracks open ... she backs off, but is Rudra getting attracted? And if so, to whom? To Paro? or to Myrah?
Rudra remembers he is Shivaji, not Kanha ... another thought ... Krishna had multiple wives ... Shivaji had only Sati/Parvati ... Parvati was Sati reborn. Rudra repeating that he cannot be Krishna ... is that telling us that he cannot move on from Paro?
Koel is a very smart kid ... she is even sharper than Mohini! She is her grandmother's daughter for sure ... but with her heart in the right place. How nice it is to see a smart heroine 😆 She loves her brother Dhruv, she will do anything for him ... what a lovely bond the two share.
Myrah as Radha ... hats off to the costume designer for keeping the looks very different despite the basic costume being the same ghaghra choli ... and to Sanaya for keeping Myrah and Paro so distinct, even in similar clothes. Her body language, her smile, her tentativeness in wearing unfamiliar clothes, vs the natural comfort of Paro in them ... the only time they were similar was when Myrah twirled around like Paro.
So the CV's are still keeping up the similarities as well as the differences.
I loved your words on Rudra were ... a man still lost without his Paro, desperately trying to find her in Myrah ... at the same time trying to convince himself she can't be Paro .. his head and his heart were constantly warring with each other ... and Myrah got the fallout.
I liked Myrah's reply as well ... mature, calm, no anger but a statement of fact ... glad she didn't make a big deal out of his words, or get angry again and retaliate ... she was much more mature today. But she still doesn't know the real reason for Rudra's behaviour ... and she won't, till he or Maithili tells her.
I have to say, your last words on Rudra and his apology, made me feel again, the guy is still quite self-absorbed. It's all about HIM and his feelings. I wish the CVs had written him showing a little more growth, and taking the time to think about how his internal conflict affects other people too. Yes, he told Myrah it wasn't her, it was him ... but he ended up hurting her ... He needs to be a little more introspective as to how because of his own pain, he lands up hurting other people, and that is not right. If he does that, he might show her Paro's picture, that will explain everything to Myrah. I can feel Rudra's pain ... but when he lashes out at others, then it diminishes the purity ... for want of a better word. It makes his pain and his love for Paro his weakness, rather than his strength.
Maithili's POV ... edited above post to add some more thoughts. Maithili expresses the feelings of many of us ... Rudra is fully entitled to move on ... but will moving on with Myrah really be moving on at all?
@Tn ... beautiful posts again, loved all the moments and the perfect acrostic ...
Eye lock moment .. I was actually glad to hear the annoying bells today, as they broke the eyelock! 😆
Demanding moment, and counter punching moment ... Koel is a brat! A spoiled brat ... but a very cute one! 😆 She gets her own way all the time, by hook or by crook. She even outmaneuvers Rudra ... he is defenseless against her emotional blackmail.😆 And her planning is perfect ... she thinks of everything!
Show stopper of the day ... Myrah as Radha ... again hats off to Sanaya, for keeping the two characters so completely different, even in the same style of clothes. I was glad the mystery of her clothes was cleared up ... no scope for any MU. Otherwise Maithili was looking very accusingly at Myrah, as though not believing a word she said. Maithili is pretty ambivalent towards Myrah ... her love for Paro makes her amplify every little flaw in Myrah into a big sin.
Challenging moment ... Again Rudra was rude to Myrah without provocation ... and she answered back very well ... it is not her fault she was born and brought up abroad, or hasn't faced too many struggles in life ... that does not give him the right to judge her. Which he has been doing ... most unfairly, and wrongly at many times.
Of course he has been judging her for another reason, but till he tells her that, she can't know!
Dilemma of the Day, and Moving On moment ... I think all of PaRud fandom agrees with Maithili ... if Rudra is getting attracted to Myrah, does that mean he is ready to move on? Or that he will never move on from Paro? How can one tell? Maithili is right to be doubtful.
SORRY ... apt acrostic ... Rudra saying sorry to Myrah is a big deal. Will he drop his prejudices against her, and stop blaming her for her face? And if so ... what next?
@PhoenixRising ... agree, again they are rushing all the festivals!!! Too much drama, not enough celebration. 😕
It was very obvious during the last few episodes that Rudra was wrong in his assessment of Myrah ... so the apology had to come. Loved her answer to Rudra today ... she was clear, straightforward, spoke without mincing her words .. and without any anger ... which made it ten times more effective.
