I now believe dev is the dumbest character in the whole storry...pehle jab durga ne usse diary di he didnt checked k pages puray hain bhi ya ni ...then noe dis is wat we cawl a blunder !!!! so much disappointed ...I dont want durga to get married to someone who is an absolute idiot and doesnt know any kind of intelligent moves ...suchitra and dev both r soo dumb

no offense just my personal view ...

I think his mother conivcer him trust his uncle and aunt as his childhood, because his father Arbha away pass and Suchitra wanted him fulliet his father dream. Not sure...

I don't think it shows Dev is dumb.

The rest of the people on the show are just manipulative, especially Durga and Sakshi.

Dev is just an innocent carefree soul, who trusted Durga, and I don't see any wrong in that.

If this makes Dev dumb, we can also say Durga was dumb for not even considering that someone's email could be hacked, and for instantly doubting that her lifelong best friend betrayed her.

I actually like Dev, because there is no plotting or planning involved with him, he seems realistic.

Not knowing your email was hacked and someone used it to send emails to others, not doubting your family even after being threatened openly by your cousin, not taking police cover or wearing bullet proof jacket being a rich scion who has just been threatened by goons, believing dead people are alive, not noticing your own mother's obvious insult by other Goenkas - is this all realistic? 😲

Others are observant, smart and analytical. Not just manipulative only.

Durga made issue of email due to his lack of contact plus what she suffered due to his family and don't forget she was from a poor family and had less education and exposure than Dev who is highly educated and well travelled. No comparison here.

I don't think that dev did anything worng bec everytime we need information
About person who mentally ill without premission from his/ her family
We prove that person and jo information chaita hai unke bitch realation
Kha hai nahi to doctor refuse to tell imformation
and also dev unkown fact that the doctor is sakshi's informer.

Dev is quite clueless at this point but that is simply because he isn't aware that besides his mom, the Goenkas are sneaky, evil people. That doesn't make his love for Nitya any less. This question is silly. Of course he should marry his love (now Durga) because the basis of that should be on whether he still loves her (which he does) not whether or not he solves Payal's rape case. He's trying his hardest and that should count..
