The CVs have portrayed one of the all time great Emperors as a totally incapable weakling, his first wife as a screeching villainous nutcase and his special wife as behaving in a way that the awaam gossips on her character especially when she hails from a community where woman's honour is placed above her life. If Ruq and Maham can be excused for letting Ben, Atifa and Sujamal go near Jalal, in the palace, then Jodha's crime is not a crime at all. She has only let out someone, not LET IN someone, who could kill Jalal.

Sorry. She released a killer from captivity because he was obedient to her and saved her. Ruqaiya fake pregnancy drama caused the death of one baandhi. So many soldiers have died due to Khaibar release. Intentions alone don't matter. Many times end results matter more. Even if the scandal be sidestepped as jodha's putity is unquestionable her releasing a prisoner and helping him escape from the people again is not something light.

Jalal has never compromised on justice so far except in Shivaani case and Ruqaiya murti khaand ( minor though)
