Aahil walks into their bedroom and finds Sanam crying. He softly asks why. She is instantly contrite, hiding her feelings from him. She attempts to walk away Why should it matter to you anyway...
I'm your husband, Sanam...
<Aahil awkwardly looks away, as though cursing himself for revealing more than he'd intended>
Her resolve to steel herself breaks down and cries.
He feels bad <Don't cry Sanam, please.> wants to reach out and touch her hand but hesitates.
She confides in Aahil.
Today, i found out some horrible things about my parents' death. They didn't die in a road accident. Their death was a horrific mystery. And you know what? Today is my mother's birthday, and to hear this today is truly terrible...
The expression on Aahil's face... So much care and concern. He couldn't bear that she was crying like this. He really wanted to comfort her. He gently turns her, presumably to hold her. So gentle, so careful...
Then she snaps, And why am I telling you all this? It's not like you care... and walks away. Aahil awkwardly pull his hand back, hurt fills his eyes at her biting remark.
But I do care, Sanam...
Later in the day, Sanam comes to find a cake by her bedside, and a nonchalant looking Aahil sits nearby, supposedly doing work.
Did you bring me this cake? No reply...
Aahil...? And he shuffles uncomfortably, refusing to turn to her.
You yourself said, you like to celebrate everyone's birthday, whoever they are...
So YOU brought me a cake to celebrate my mother's birthday?
He rolls his eyes, Dear God, must I spell everything out???
Look Sanam, we may have our differences, but I respect your mother. It's her birthday and we should remember her well...
Thank you... she says softly... And he turns with a cheeky look.
What? I didn't hear you... <YaY! glimpses of cheeky Aahil are back!>
I've got work to do okay, so don't disturb me...
So he declines to share her moments celebrating her mother's birthday... but Lord, isn't he curious???
She has a small smile on her face because of his gesture, and he's dying to know what she's doing. So, cute OMG !!! Gah!!
He doesn't want to be caught watching, and she knows it. So she just lets him watch... and watch he does, with his heart and the sweetest smile I've seen in a long while...
Sanam lights a candle and talks to her mother. She vows to find out everything that happened and how they died. She prays to Allah to help her keep her vow to her mother. Aahil looks up as though saying, Aamiin...
There was no touching, no eye locks, nothing. But it was such an intimate moment for these two. He wanted to cheer her up, and she accepted the gesture. She was touched that he did such a sweet thing, and wasn't snarky about it. Ceasefire.Truce.
Good times ahead, my friends...
Razia Bi is uncloaked in front of passersby as she is kicked out by Tanveer. Her scalp is badly burnt (!??!!!) , supposedly by the fire in the house. She was there !!! One clue towards her taking Seher from the house as a child. She begs and pleads to stay, and Tanveer relents; but to stay with the servants. Razia is mighty insistent to stay in the house, as Seher enters the fray tomorrow...
Meanwhile Faiz spills the beans to his brother, that he loves Haya, and he would like to marry her. I don't really hate Faiz you know. He's a spoiled brat, yes. But he is quick to realize what he wants is right in front of him, and doesn't care too much about who else might want it instead. He's a go getter. It's refreshing.
Pity Rahat though... he really tried to talk Faiz out of it. But the more he tried, the more resolute Faiz about marrying Haya.
Precap: Rahat talks Haya into marrying Faiz, and she is shocked...
p/s: will reply tomorrow! Goodnight everyone!đł
