These two are failed parents. Even after knowing the illicit relationship between Vivaan and Trisha, Sonali never tries to counsel her wayward , psycho son, instead she is busy in meddling in her friend's (Nikhil) affairs. She finds it normal if two cousins brought up in a joint family have a sexual relations. She is even OK with that idiot doing drugs..Not even once she sees anything wrong in her son. What kind of a family is this?
Prateek was right. They are irresponsible people and this explains the current state of Vivaan.
