Introducing a time leap is the most
tried and tested method on
television to revive a show's ratings.
As many as eight serials have or are
about to take this 'leap of faith'.

years. Surbhi Jyoti, who plays Zoya in
the show, returned as her daughter

plays the new male lead after Karan

Post four time leaps " including a
generation leap where Ankita
Lokhande played her own grand-
daughter " the show recently took
another leap of five years. This time
around, Ankita she will play mother
to a five-year-old girl.

It jumped two years forward in June.
A huge drama unfolded just before
the leap with Dipika Samson " the
protagonist " announcing that she
is quitting the show. However, she
revoked the decision.

love story soon started focussing on
several characters. The show finally
ended last month.

in a new avatar after 10 years of

patient; there's a lot of thought
