As for your question, protecting Jodha in some way is one idea. I have another hypothesis, maybe Jalal wants Jodha to take responsibility. She will soon become MUZ, but she has never displayed firmness in dealing with Jalal's relatives nor has she ever expressed her HAQ, that Jalal's love should have given her. She has allowed everyone to run roughshod over her. Maybe, Jalal wants a Jodha who fights back, who champions her own cause and that of her loved ones, a woman who does not allow someone else to snatch her love away from her.

This kind of fighting spirit is needed in the mother of the next Emperor, or the child himself will be weak and unable to rule effectively.

The promo hints that Jodha is going to fight back.
