i loved it.

i love the way you started the story.
the twisted relations are very much real in our lives.

Coming Back

8 years later.

"Rey! Get up right now!"

Rey heard his mom shouting. He groaned and sat on his bed. Anjali came inside.

"Rey! Have you even packed your stuff? Ticket bhi rakhi?"
"Mom! Sab ready hain , aap tension mat lo na."
"Yaad rakh le , iss baar mumbai mein teri mom nahi hain teri help karne! So sab check kar lo ek baar and go freshen up!"

Rey nods.
Rey came out of the washroom , his phone was ringing , it was taani calling. He picked it up.

"Hey gadhi!"
"Hey chimpanzee , kitne baje land karega?"
"5 p.m! Kyun? Tu pick karne aayegi?"
"Haan!"
"Okay!"
"Rey , sun..."
"Bol!"
"Kria bhi aa rahi hain mere saath!"
"What! Why? Nooo!"
"Use shopping karni hain , akele jaa nahi sakti."
"Kyun? Choti bachi hain kya voh?"
"Tujhe nahi pata Rey?"
"Kya nahi pata?"
"Kri..kria ka accident.."
"WHAT! When? How?"
He heard taani burst out laughing , rey groaned.
"Idiot! Gadhi!"
"Wah , tu toh bada tension mein agaya. Kaha tha na pachtayega."
"Humanity! You know! Aur mein kyun pachtaun!"
"Haan haan. Nautanki Tu jaa ab breakfast khaa. Byee."
Rey laughed and cuts the call.

Rey was eating his breakfast when anjali came to him . She sat beside him and Rey knew what she was going to say.

"Rey beta , I know things between you and kria are not good , they never were , beta tum usse eight years baad miloge , use hurt mat karna kuch ulta phulta bolke. Usne pehle hi tumhe zone out kar dia hain , itne saalon mein ek baar bhi delhi nahi aayi , don't let her take another drastic step! Kria meri beti jaisi hain aur mein nahi chahti tumhare behavior se voh humse bhi baat karna chod de."
"Mom , I am not that Rey anymore , you know that right? I assure you , I won't hurt her. Pakka? Mujhe koi shauk nahi usse jhagda karne ka."

Anjali smiled , she kissed his forehead and went to do her work.
Rey spoke in his mind.
"Miss. Ghai , mom ko toh promise maine kar dia , meeting you would be fun! Dekhte hain kitna badli ho."

Rey entered the plane and sat on his seat , closing his eyes. After few minutes , he took out his phone and opened the gallery. He opened the photo which he daily used to see.

It was of Taani and Kria. The grown up girls! Taani was not that tomboyish anymore , but yeah she still didn't like getting dressed up . Kria , she had turned into a beautiful girl. She was a diva taani had told him. Rey was definitely eager to see his best friend's a bit girly version , but more eager to see the diva side of that girl who had forever been shy!

Why was he looking at this picture? Well cause , this was the only picture , that kria had "allowed" quoting taani , to send to Rey. In short this was the only picture he had of her , and in case he didn't recognize her , he would definitely get a smack on his shoulder! Oh ya who was he kidding to , he looked at this picture cause he couldn't take his eyes off kria. He had to admit she was hot. He just hoped , she wasn't a bimbo! He was definitely excited to see her.
He kept his phone and looked out , seeing nothing but the clouds. Mumbai was surely going to be fun.

He was coming back! This was the only thing that was running in kria's mind. In these 8 years , kria had successfully avoided reyaansh as much as she could . But now her childhood crush who gave her , her first and her last rejection was coming back.

Kria looked at herself in the mirror.
He had spoiled her childhood , made her feel inferior. He was a jerk and in no ways she was going to be sweet to that donkey in the face of a human. She spoke angrily.

"Aane do use! Zyaada bakwaas ki toh mein bhi uss bandar ko dekha dungi ki I am not that Kria Ghai anymore! Badal gayi hain voh bacchi."
Taani knocked the door. Kria turned and smiled at her sister.
"Nervous?"
"Why?"
"Koi wapas aa raha hain!"
"I don't care taani! Tera best friend teri amanat , mujhe baksh de."
"Wah! Itni nafrat , rey bechaara. Lagne waali hain usski."
Kria giggled. She sat down.
"I would really love to see jab tum dono ek dusre ke saamne aaoge toh kya hoga mahabharat.."
In mind.
"Ya luv shuv!"
