Hi!
i visit here regularly!
but never actually posted anything.
I love Ek haseena thi.
be it Durga's acting or Sakshi's witty sarcasms.
but one thing That i dont like bout this show is that There's no BENGALI touch in it. Just Maa durga and howrah bridge doesnt represent the Bengali culture.
and being a bengali i pretty well know that all da richie rich families of kolkata tries to show off bout Rabindranath Tagore. like how attracted they are to rabindrasangeet or putting up pictures of Tagore in their drawing room. etc. in this serial they just use the name of Kolkata. but there's absolutely no essence. In balika Vadhu they portray rajasthani culture so nicely. chhoti se chhoti baat bhi they take care of. or In Pavitra rishta also maharashtrian culture is reflected nicely. but Idk Why eht is so reluctant bout showing bengali tradition. 1stly no bengali girl wears such kinda anarkali's all day long. sanjeeda should wear sarees.
anyway I'd like to make some new friends here.
my name is Risha.

Hello Risha, we are already discussing this topic on other thread called 'Not very Bengali'. Can you please use that thread for this discussion.

Although, I agree with all yur points. The saree thing is not really applicable these days. I am a Bengali but I wear saree occasionally but on daily basis.

Actually I meant sometimes She should wear sarees. that too simple, plain to make it more realistic.
if Not saree she can also try other salwar suits. not Just anarkalis.
