Sonam Kapoor breaks up with Sahir Berry

After getting a degree in the US, Sahir did a course in international business from London. He then took a sabbatical and returned to Goa to dabble in modelling.
Sonam and Sahir reportedly met on a social media network. Buzz is, her producer-sister Rhea played Cupid.The two however kept a low profile and didn't make their relationship public. But on June 9, Sahir was spotted at Sonam's birthday party. After the party he got into a car with her and Karisma Kapoor but when the cameras focussed on them, he covered his face and hid behind the dashboard.
A source close to the couple says, "Both Sonam and Sahir tried their best to sustain their 'friend ship'. But a few days ago, they had a long chat and decided to go their separate ways."
Prior to Sahir, Sonam had dated I Hate Luvstorys and Gori Tere Pyar Mein director Punit Malhotra for two years before they called it quits.
Both felt that they had outgrown the relationship.
Despite repeated attempts, Sonam chose not to respond to our text messages and calls.
