Cornia, this is true fan power, from all across the world, the viewers have sent a very very clear message, the popularity of teh show is largely due to gauti!

And to think I have been crying my eyes out every time Gautam was saying those heartbreaking dialogues in SC. Good to see the cvs have come round.

Cornia, my hearty congratulations to all SC fans, samudians, saras and GR fans and to you too. You people have really worked hard to achieve this though everyone of us contributed to this cause. This is the power of loyal fans and the result of intense online campaign. Everyone must be feeling glad and relieved now. It seemed you wrote that petition post in extreme desperation and as a last attempt to do all one can. In the same way most of the fans spared no effort. All these have finally paid off. Moreover the people at the helm of things know well that the show has run its course, nothing left to show and the message from the fans was loud and clear. The news of saraswathichandra's demise in his own story, with the show keeping the same name is something unacceptable and unreasonable to every sensible viewer. They have been taking fans' loyalty and patience for granted. Now thankfully the makers and the creatives have a change of heart. Perhaps they had the sense of downfall of the show. And things might not have been worked out in their favour from their business point of view. Anyways we got what we want. Saras must be present in his own story till the end. That's all that matters. The news of the show ending on a happy note is most welcome, if true. In the remaining days viewers don't care much about things like story, track, plot etc. Nowadays I am not watching the show regularly, just try to catch it on and off due to lack of time and interest. I guess we won't be able to see much of GR in the forthcoming days. Now that saras has escaped from this mishap, my suspicion is - can this alone be taken as the official confirmation as you have mentioned. Is there any news from any reliable source? What about GR's commitments? It would be much better if he comes up with a statement clarifying things. Normally do the makers or channel make any official announcement about the show's closure? Personally I want the show to end as early as possible because it has been reduced to crap for quite some time now. Once again my thanks and best wishes to all.
