Himesh Reshammiya has finally apologised to Boney Kapoor. He had recorded the song, Tanhaiyaan for Boney's film Milenge Milenge but used it for his debut film as an actor Aap Kaa Surroor without taking Boney's permission. An enraged Boney had threatened to take Himesh and T-Series, who held the audio rights for AKS, to court.
"Boney was shocked when he saw the first promo of AKS which featured his own film's song picturised on Himesh. When he claimed that it was his song, Himesh had reportedly hit back declaring that it was 100 percent his own song which he had composed and sung and also borne the recording costs for. He had further claimed that during one of the music sitting sessions with Boney for Milenge Milenge, he had recited the song to him which he had loved but nothing had been finalised as to whether he had taken it for his film or not. Hearing these words, Boney was further infuriated by Himesh's attitude and decided to file a case against him and T-Series and bring a stay on AKS's release which is scheduled for coming Friday." our source concludes.
"Worried about the consequences, T-Series head honcho, Bhushan Kumar then decided to take the first step for settling this matter out of court. He arranged a meeting between Boney and Himesh. In this meeting, Himesh said sorry to Boney and accepted his fault. Boney forgave him and assured him that he won't be going ahead with his court case. Both shared a hug and became friends again."
"All is well between me and Himesh now" is only what Boney commented when asked regarding this matter. Himesh was unavailable for comment.
