Hi,
I'm posting this note because many of the readers have some doubts and one them being if there are any other antagonist at this juncture. So I've tried my best to clarify them.
a) "...then allowed her to grow up in an illusion that the person whom she considered as the source of support for her mother was actually the reason for all the troubles in their lives and now he had turned nothing more than a murderous thug" - this statement explicitly refers to Khushi's maama Surajpratap Raheja. It is mentioned like that because he had always maintained a good behavior in front of the whole world pretending to be a source of constant support to his apparently widowed sister, Garima.
b) Khushi discovers her maama's treachery only when her mother reveals her the truth. How Khushi discovers that her father was alive and the actual reasons for her parent's divorce will be updated in future chapters.
c) Khushi's older sister Muskaan knows about her maama's true colors and the real reason for her parent's divorce for sometime now, and eventually tells Rohith about it. She & her husband Rohith had understood Garima's helplessness but had never openly disclosed their disapproval of Surajpratap Raheja, not even in front of Khushi.
d) Garima blamed herself for few things in her life and one of them was the death of Payal's father. An accident was staged by Surajpratap Raheja and the intended target was Shashank, who escaped with minor injuries while Payal's father had succumbed. She blamed herself for her sister-in-law becoming a widow and Payal being left as a fatherless child. This incident occurs in same year, in which Khushi was born. Ultimately this incident influenced Garima's decision to divorce Shashank. (Accident is mentioned in flashback part of Chapter1).
e) Khushi was almost a year old when her parent's separated after 9 years of marriage. She and her older sister have an age difference of 7 years.
f) As for the villains, guys do you really want to know now? Even if yes I'm not revealing their identities. I told you that I'd introduce one of the villains in chapter 1 (note on page 2) and that was Surajpratap Raheja, (Please check Sameer's POV in Chapter 1, where it is revealed).
g) Lastly the time period of story is 2011, i.e. the murders occurs in January 2011, and the story proceeds from there on.
Hope this clarifies all the doubts. And I really hope that I did justice to the reunion between a parent and his child, whom have never interacted!
Thank you all for the wonderful response and support.
Cheers,
Radhvi
PS- Next update will be on Friday evening as I need to amend Chapter 3B which is taking ridiculously long time to do so, thanks to my neck ache!
