Recently three four incidents happened due to Indian TV channels in Bangladesh. Some teenagers commited suicide for not getting Star Jolsha's Pakhi dress and one girl even divorced his husband for not giving her expensive Indian dress. Its stupid but Indian movies and Indian TV channels have completely destroyed Bangladeshi TV channels.

Govt served legal notice to ban Indian TV channels
Staff CorrespondentA Supreme Court lawyer yesterday served a legal notice on the government, asking it to stop operation of Indian television channels in Bangladesh within 24 hours.
In the notice, Eklas Uddin Bhuiyan said the programmes broadcast by the Indian TV channels had been making adverse impact on the social life of the people of Bangladesh.
Being influenced by drama serial "Bojhena Se Bojhena" aired by Indian television channel Star Jalsa, a class II student at Gobindaganj in Gaibandha has reportedly committed suicide as she did not get "Pakhi" dress, the lawyer said in the notice.
"Pakhi" dress is used in "Bojhena Se Bojhena" serial.
Eklas said one Shahin of Nondoteghori village in Sherpur upazila of Bogra had reportedly killed himself as he could not provide "Pakhi" dress to his wife.
Bangladeshi television channels are not allowed to broadcast in India, he said.
Eklas sent the notice to information minister, secretary to the information ministry, and chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, saying that if they did not stop the Indian TV channels in Bangladesh within 24 hours he would take legal action against them.
