Why not end the serial

I really hate that the CVs have planned to kill the beautiful character Saras. Instead they can end the serial on a happy note. Why do they want to drag the story unnecessarily. Anyways I am not going to watch Saraswathichandra once the character Saras dies. I watch only for him.

Unfortunately channel and producers have an ego of continuing shows and dragging them on and on. They think twists like this saras dying will increase viewing when the truth is it will make the ratings much worse. This is indian tv show problem from before. How I wish they made finite shows instead of dragging like this. I'm glad Gautam's new project is finite. I stopped watching the show awhile back because I felt it was loosing its charm but I come on the forum now and then to see feedback. This show should have ended much before personally I think. Too much dragging on tv shows. I remember in an interview Gautam said he would like to do a finite show and looks like his wish is coming true.
