Old vs. new Dhruv

This is my take on the artists playing old and new Dhruv.

First 2 episodes of old Dhruv (Thurs and Fri last week), we saw a cute little boy who showed us jhalaks of Paro in him and somehow we all felt connected to him being his parents shadow (mostly Paro). He was a total reminiscent of Paro from the initial reels itself, so down to earth and exceptionally good in emotional scenes... we all could feel the pain of him missing his mom from the word go.

Come Monday, new Dhruv has failed to create the same impression. I just couldn't connect to him. I am not doubting the child artist and his abilities but that spark was missing in his entry, on the other hand, old Dhruv gave that spark immediately in the first few seconds...

I would want the old Dhruv (Rishi) to come back and do his part otherwise RR 2.0 would be going downhill soon...

This is not a comparison between the artists... just what I think will happen...

They both are kids yaar..we should spare them..but not agree with TM..new dhruv is better.

WhT is wrong in this forum 😲 .. Now even child artist is not spare n he being the reason for RR going downhill .. Really .. Previous Dhruv was best n this one is also best .

sheesh! peopel don't jump on the TM!

She has not insulted either child - just saying 1st one was more emotionally good in scenes!

has NOT compared their cuteness or any such thing!

It would be good for the show if the pinched little face yearning for his mother he lost at birth connects with the audience.
Maybe cz the other child artist was slightly older he was better in projecting his emotions.. your heart just went out to him.. i cried with him.. the way he was so understanding of his father's emotions and moods and so tranquilly catering to him.. it was so sweet.. he and Ashish together tugged my heart last 2 episodes..

this new little munchkin is naughty. and i don't feel his pain at losing his mother..

I CANNOT believe how rude the few responses of this thread to the TM are!!

Plz..read the comment once again she is not saying that rr would go downhill because of child artist. .she is talking about the overall attitude of the forum.

I personally think both are good.

I believe we audience were more touched/connected with the first one because of the timing of his entry - it was just after Paro's demise and actions like pulling Mooch of Rudra like Paro , imitating Rudra etc helped us connect more - We gotto see paro's child for the first time then and we probably felt really sorry for the Kid who has lost his mother whereas the new kiddo has still hasnt got to enact such scenes like the ones that were for Dhruv at the beginning of his character.
