Kabir closes the door and follows the officers who are chasing after Vinod up the stairs of the under construction building. They head up several flights as Kabir takes the lead. At one point Vinod stops and fires at the officers hitting one almost in the arm. (Man I loved this chase.)
Sonali is asking Vivan how he could do that as she is his sister. Vivan says cousin and they never had the cousin equation. Gaurav demands to know where Trisha is as he gets angry at Vivan. Vivan once again refuses doing anything and says he loves her. (Creep. đ¤˘) Gaurav is sarcastic at that and reminds him that he has a blood relationship with Trisha. Vivan says it has happened so often. Vivan says he didn't commit a crime and leaves in frustration.
Vinod reaches the roof of the building out of breath. He runs over to the edge and stops as he realizes where he is. At this time Kabir, Abhay, and the other CB officers reach the roof as well. Kabir puts his hands up as Vinod points his gun at Kabir. Kabir tells him to surrender because he can't get away and they can get his punishment refused. Vinod says that he wants revenge. Kabir says if something wrong has happened with him then they'll help, but right now he needs to tell the truth. Vinod says "sach ki maa ki aankh" as Kabir gives an amused look at that. (If I was there I would have burst out laughing when Vinod said that, not just give an amused look. đ¤Ł) Vinod says Prateek ruined his life. Kabir tells him that his problem is with Prateek not his family. Kabir asks where Trisha is as the girl is revealed to be someone else.
Prateek is looking at a photo of him and Trisha remembering what Bobby said. Amrita tells him not to jump to conclusions as they don't know what happened. Prateek says he won't leave Vivan if he touched his daughter even once. Amrita says we only have one hope that is ACP Kabir finds Trisha soon.
Vinod breaks down and falls to his knees. He repeats that Prateek ruined his life and he faced so much in jail showing his wounds from a gang war where he was attacked even though he wasn't involved. Kabir again asks where Trisha is. Vinod stands up laughing. Now Kabir points his gun at Vinod as he starts stepping back. Then Kabir sees Abhay who has somehow gotten behind Vinod. Kabir starts stalling asking him why he killed Bunty. (Darn. Whose Bunty? 𤣠I liked how Eijaz changed his expressions so swiftly here. It was quite realistic. From amused to serious to stalling amused to serious. đ) Vinod gets confused as Abhay quietly creeps towards Vinod. Suddenly Vinod sees Abhay and Kabir becomes serious again pointing his gun at Vinod. Vinod has a diabolical look as he looks behind himself. Then he jumps off the building. The other officers rush forward and Kabir walks forward as well.
Lavanya is pacing and stops Bobby asking if it is true about Vivan and Trisha. Kushaan refutes the idea and says that Bobby must be mistaken and Vivan may have forced himself. Bobby says he saw it himself and it is true. Lavanya says that their family's reputation is about to be ruined. Kushaan finds her hard to believe and asks why he made a video. Lavanya stops Kushaan as Bobby rushes upstairs, but he says he needs to find out what else Bobby knows.
At the site, an ambulance with the girl is leaving when Kabir stops it. He gets in and asks her who she is. She says that she is Vinod's wife. Kabir asks why he was trying to kidnap her then. She replies that Vinod wasn't kidnapping her, but he changed after going to jail. He was always talking about revenge and when she found out this morning she was going to go the police that's why he tried to shut her mouth. Kabir asks where Trisha is. She says that he didn't kidnap Trisha. He himself doesn't know where she is. She says he was lying and acted like being a kidnapper when he heard on the news that Trisha was missing. She asks for sleeping pills now. Kabir says, "Tumhe neend ki goliyon se lekar zehar tak jo demand karogi milega lekin mere saawalon ka sach sach jawab do." 𤣠He asks why Vinod did this. She says he just wanted to make money. Kabir looks thoughtful and serious. (Throughout this scene Kabir had an amused look on his face. It's only at the end that he became thoughtful. đ)
In Vinod's house, Kabir is standing in front of a bulletin board full of things on the Swaikas as the other officers are searching the house. Kabir finds more newspapers in the closet. Then Abhay brings out a laptop. Kabir is looking at the laptop. Abhay says we need to meet Vinod's wife again. Kabir says, "Woh uski biwi nahi hai. Tumhari shaadi nahi huya hai naa Abhay isli tumhe samjh nahi aaya. Kisi bhi shaadi shuda ghar main pati ki ek hi choti si almari hoti hai aur patiyon ki kum se kum teen baari baari unke saman ke liye. Yahan dekho kisi aurat ka saman dikhayi de raha hai?" Abhay says that maybe she lied about Vinod not being the true kidnapper. Kabir says that part is true. One officer asks how. Kabir says, "Kyun ki main tumhara boss hoon aur main jo kahonga woh tumhe maana hi parega." He points out the wedding photos which are of the day after the kidnapping. He says no one would go to a marriage after committing a kidnapping. Kabir continues saying that Vinod used the news as his means of revenge and the girl is some drug addict who probably tried to blackmail Vinod and was about to killed because of that. Kabir gets up and leaves. The other officers follow. (Kabir once again has this amused look throughout this scene. 𤣠I think this case is amusing him more than confusing him. đ)
Bobby is in his room painting. He ignores his call when Kushaan comes in. He asks her why he showed that video to Amrita and Prateek. Kushaan asks for the reason and says does he like Trisha like Vivan. Bobby gets angry at that. Kushaan says he can see it and demands to know the truth. Bobby once again recalls the night and remembers how he went after Trisha after she met Vivan. Kushaan says it is clearly written on his face that he loves Trisha. Bobby says yes and Kushaan looks angry.
Precap: Amrita asks how many other Solankis Prateek has sent to jail. Amrita wonders maybe one of them kidnapped Trisha.
