The Match -- Part II"Ok Panchaali, I want you to raise the sword and do a downward stroke."
"Like this?" Panchaali lifted the sword with both hands and pointed the blade to the upper right corner of the ceiling. She narrowed her eyes, slight bent her knees, and twisted her upper body to the left, while she swiftly cut the hay dummy in a downward diagonal stroke.
Arjun smiled. "Not exactly, my darling."
He removed the dummy and put another in its place. Then he walked up behind Panchaali and put his hands on her hands.
"More like this..." And guiding Panchaali hands, he lifted the sword to point at a 45 degree angle. As he began the downward stroke, he froze and decided to place his head on Panchaali's shoulders. Leaning his head against her head, he softly said, "Let's take a break now dearest one."
Panchaali smiled and tossed the sword some distance away. As Arjun tightly hugged her, she managed to loosen one hand and whispered back, "Why not Arya!" Her eyes twinkled in joy as if she had held back, and she bit her lower lip. Closing her eyes, she powerfully nudged Arjun with her elbow, creating some distance by knocking the breath out of him. She rolled on the ground, picked up the sword and did a 180 degree spin, and aimed the sword at a now kneeling Arjun.
"Gah! What was that for crazy lady!" Arjun laughed. He shook his head and tried to get up, but stopped when he saw Panchaali still pointing the sword's blade at him and shaking her head.
"I am here to train, not romance with you oh samarthya danudhar." She paused before continuing. "Now get on your feet!"
Arjun, still thinking it was a joke, promptly got to his feet. Panchaali pointed toward a stone column with the sword and Arjun silently walked there and placed his back to the pillar. Panchaali quickly tied Arjun up with a rope and walked back and forth.
"Panchaali ... babe ... I'm sorry."
"Sorry. For what you pathetic loser!" And she cut a tight one across his cheek, leaving a palm print.
"Ouch! What was that for!" Arjun exclaimed, this didn't seem like a joke. His Panchaali would never hurt him.
"Silence scoundrel!" And again, the daughter of Drupad slapped Arjun once more.
"You're my wife! I just wanted to be with you!"
"I said silence!!" Panchaali barked. "You will speak only when ordered to speak!"
Suddenly Panchaali smiled coyly. Arjun eyes opened wide in fear. Why was she smiling so shyly? He thought to himself.
She slowly walked up to him, the soft tinkling sound of her anklets filled the silent atmosphere. Arjun swallowed not knowing what to think.
She lifted her hands and softly brushed his face with her nails creating a feeling of intense passion that Arjun had never felt.
"Arya ... you want to know why I tied you up!" she said seductively.
Arjun wasn't sure if this was a trick. If he spoke, he might even get slapped again. Confused, he simply nodded.
"No ... I want you to tell me you want to know why I tied you up." Her voice burned with passion.
Arjun still nodded crazily.
Her smile turned into a frown and she lifted her hand. "I told you to speak when ordered to speak. NOW SPEAK!" She cut another tight slap onto the already red cheek of Arjun.
"Sweety. Of course I would like to know."
Panchaali smiled sadistically. She grabbed Arjun's chin and puckered up. As she brought her lips closer to Arjun's ...
Cock-a-doodle-doo!!
Arjun groaned and murmured in his sleep. Mmm ... go away stupid rooster, he thought to himself as he pulled the blanket cover over his head.
Cock-a-doodle-doo!!
Arjun groaned even louder and rolled to his side, covering his ears with his silk pillow.
Cock-a-doodle-doo!!
His eyebrows rose. That last sound didn't seem like a rooster's voice, it was too loud and too feminine. He tried to ignore it and fall back into his dream where his wife's crazy alter-ego was about to kiss him passionately, but
Cock-a-doodle-doo!!
He opened his eyes and when things cleared up, he was welcomed by the face of a beautiful woman who was staring at him and silently laughing.
"Good Morning Arya!" and with that, the woman (who by the way had her right hand lifted) slowly poured cold water from the cup she was holding over her Arya's face.
Arjun's tiger-instincts kicked in and he quickly dodged the water. He grinned back at his wife, who returned the grin, confusing him.
Moments later and being completely soaked in cold water, he realized why his wife was grinning at him. She was holding a second cup in her left hand and she threw that at him.
Taking this opportunity, he quickly leapt off the bed and embraced his wife, slightly wetting her garments as well. They looked into each other's eyes and froze as if time had frozen for them.
(Part 3 will include some actual training moments, I promise)
