After doing stand-up comedy on TV and samaj-seva for jailbirds, Rakhi Sawant will now walk the ramp. Being Rakhi, she will not merely sashay to the edge and back; she will do something to frighten the audience. Why? Er, we're not sure so we asked her. "It's a horror-theme fashion show," she said, "and it's not that I'm going to look like a witch or wear a haunted look. I will continue to be the same hot and sexy Rakhi." Well, thank you for that we say, but so what's new?

"I will hold something which will be very scary," the item girl said, "and I'm going to look very beautiful and confident about it."

What could that scary thing possibly be? Not Mika's head we hope. Anyway, though she does not have an hour glass figure like the models around, with all her nakhras and tamashas surely she will be able to pull it off. Undoubtedly, she is one Bhartiya naari jo pade sab pe bhari!

Sameera Ready for love
After her affair with director Sanjay Gupta fell apart, and the director returned to his wife Anu, reports surfaced of Sameera Reddy's finding solace in the arms of a Mumbai-based builder for the past six months. We called Sameera to ask who this mystery man was but she wouldn't answer. Her publicity agent Parull Gossin said, "I cannot comment about it, it's her personal matter." Come on Sam! It's no big deal to have a boyfriend, it's just an affair! Now, if only sugar daddy had a production house.

Daler Mehndi is to face more competition for his bhangra fare. Par koi gal nahin, it's all in the family. After brother Mika, now wife Nikki is coming out with a Punjabi album, called Nakhra Punjaban Da. An elated Nikki says, "I have taken out this album after taking training for 4 years under my father-in-law and husband. It seems this was the right time so with the support of Dalerji I decided to launch my album."

Maybe Daler knew that after his version of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was axed, the writing was on the wall and it was time for someone else in the family now. Good planning paaji! But if she's up to nakhra, why's his wife calling him Dalerji?

Karan Mehra's Drama-baazi
The very agyakaari brother in Viruddh, Karan Mehra says he loves the way his acting career is shaping up. Having done theatre with Barry John before he joined television, Karan wants to go back to his guru and do some plays. He says, "Barry is coming to Mumbai, so it's easier for me to do theatre now and I always wanted to continue with it. Frankly, television has more money that's why I am here but theatre gives you the opportunity to grow not only as an actor but also as a person."

Very excited about the cameo he is doing in Goldy Behl's Drona with Abhishek Bachchan, it seems Karan wants to try his hand at everything. But watch out dude, hope you won't get into the category of Jack of all trades, master of none!
