We have seen Colors as a channel at times doing extremely well and sometimes indulging in tiff from its competitors. But this time around, the news that TellyBuzz has got may not be happy news for everyone.

Over the past few days, we have seen several designated people leaving the channel and calling it quits. Our reliable sources unveil the reason behind this.

"Many people from the Colors channel have not quit but are told to leave the channel. The major reason for this drastic change is that Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has taken over the channel. The news has been around for quite some time now but recently got the confirmation," ends the little birdie close to the channel.

We also hear that all this time RIL chose to stay mum as the shows on the channel were not doing as well as they were expected to do.

RIL had recently taken over CNN-IBN and will be seen taking over other channels like IBN7, CNBC - TV18, Lokmat and all of ETV channels.

Well, TellyBuzz hopes that Colors keep giving the shows like it has been giving and is giving today.

Kept my mouth shut too long ...But this news ..Just cannot sit silent ...
Is this a reason to smile ...I hope ...
I hope this means we can get rid of at least never ending saga ...
My Mom will be crying saying , I know she will miss the drama ...
But me ...I am glad ...wait , let me be clear that I will only jump, if all the shows end ...
nd one specific very specific beloved person ...is u know what ...

Great ! hope the takeover brings relief from all the crap dished out in the name of entertainment. But im wary of the change it would herald, fingers crossed.

Reliance makes some shitty films. I doubt any of the existing shit will go out. They will remain in the name of TRPs.
