Epilogue

Five years later.

Haya: Rahat kya kar rahe hain aap?

Rahat: Main kya kar raha hoon?

Haya: Badmaashi.

Rahat: Accha ab mera pyar karna badmaashi lagta hai tumhe?

Haya: Ab mujhe samajh mein aata hai ki Hayaat itni badmaash kyun hai aur jab badmaashi pakdi jaati hai toh aisa puppy face kyun banati hai. Apne abbu par gayi hai.

Rahat: Haw mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum tubelight ho! Humaari Hayaat 3 years ki ho gayi hai ab tumhe pata chala ki wo mujhpar gayi hai.

Haya: Rahat please chodiye mujhe Hayaat aa jaaegi... Agar usne humein aise dekh liya toh...

Rahat: Toh kya? Junior Rajdhani Express shuru ho jaayegi... Aakhir iss maamle mein toh completely apni ammi par hi gayi hai na wo...

Haya was in the living area with a glass of milk for Hayaat, her and Rahat's three year old daughter. Two years after their wedding Haya and Rahat were blessed with a baby girl whom they name Hayaat. Hayaat with her brought along with her insurmountable happiness. As time passed Rahat and Haya enjoyed many of the joys of parenting which they had expected but there were also many other thrills that snuck up on them when they least expected for which they never knew to prepare for. Hayaat was the life of the family. Rahat, the army man after the nikaah, restarted his career as a training officer at Bhopals' army school. Haya and Rahat were hands on parents. Hayaat was both naughty and nice. She had traits of both her parents. Three years of parenthood brought immeasurable, complete and utter joy along with trials, tribulations and difficulties to their lives. Haya worked from home till Hayaat began her kindergarten. Haya's dream was to open a successful chain of fashion boutiques named after Hayaat. Haya, Rahat and their daughter Hayaat made a beautiful family.

Haya and Rahat had difficulties in spending quality time ever since Hayaat had begun to talk and walk. She did not understand it but asked many questions if she saw her parents close. It was very difficult for Rahat to tell her about these things and Haya would feel shy with Hayaat's questions. Haya used to make sure that Hayaat did not see them in a compromising position but Rahat could not keep himself from showering her with love whenever he saw her alone. This moment was again one such moment where Rahat wanted to come close to Haya but she was scared that Hayaat might see them. Haya too was beginning to enjoy Rahat's closeness and she was just about to give in when a soft giggle from behind the kitchen counter brought her back to reality.

Haya: Rahat please chodiye Hayaat kitchen mein hai. Wo abhi aa jaayegi.

Rahat: Unn... Nahi na I don't want to stop... Hayaat ki fikar mat karo wo nahi aayegi...

Haya: Aap itna sure kaise ho sakte hain? Rahat maine uske hansne ki awaaz suni shayad usne humein dekh liya hai.

Rahat: Oh meri hyper tension ki shikaar biwi... Hayaat bahar nahi aayegi kyunki tumhaare haath mein doodh ka glaas hai... And about her giggle wo iss liye nahi hai ki usne humein dekha hai wo iss liye hai ki ab tak tumne use pakda nahi hai. So ab Ammi Haya ko side mein rakho and let me hug my wife. Come here wo nahi aayegi.

Haya: Agar main use bahar le aayi toh?

Rahat: Kyun mere romantic mood mein rukawat daalna chahti ho?

Haya: Rahat uska doodh peena important hai. Uski sehet ke liye accha hai.

Rahat: Hum jo kar rahe hain wo bhi important hai. Ye bhi humaare sheet ke liye accha hai.

Haya: Rahat stop it. Main use abhi bahar le aaoongi.

Rahat: Aur agar wo nahi aayi toh... Tumhe jurmana bharna hoga...

Haya: Aur agar wo bahar aa gayi toh?

Rahat: Toh main jurmana bhar doonga...

Haya: Badmaash!

Haya could not help but blush. Rahat was amazed at his ability to make his wife of 5 years to blush like a new bride. Haya was Hayaat's mother and she knew exactly how to get her out from her hiding. Rahat was making advances but Haya slapped his hand off or glared at him. Her glare was enough to tell him that if he would not behave at the moment he would have a long alone suffering night sleeping on the couch. He backed off. Both Haya and Rahat pretended to look for Hayaat.

Haya: Rahat sab jagah dekh liya Hayaat toh kahin nahi hai...

Rahat: Haya humne sab jagah nahi dekha...

Haya: Oh haan maine couch ke neeche toh dekha hi nahi...

Hayaat came out from behind the kitchen counter giggling. Her giggle sounded just like a wind chime. It was same as Haya's. She was giggling and then covered her mouth. She came to Rahat and asked him to come down to her level. She whispered in his ears.

Hayaat: Abbu ammi is sho funny na? Hayaat jaishi big girl ko ammi couch ke neeche find karne jaa rahi thi...

Haya: Ammi is not funny... Ammi is intelligent.

Hayaat and Rahat: Oopsy ammi ne shab shun liya.

Haya: Yes ammi ne sab sun liya... Chalo Hayaat dhoodh pee lo.

Hayaat: Ok but abbu tell me ammi mujhe find kar liya toh ab aap kaishe ju..ju... jumana bhaoge?

Rahat: Jo Hayaat ki ammi khengi Hayaat ke abbu will do it... Hum toh inke ghulaam hain...

Haya: Rahat!

Hayaat: Haw ammi aap abbu ko daati ki! Abbu if ammi shays situpshs karo toh aap karoge?

Haya: Haan Hayaat abbu toh ammi ke ghulam hai wo main kahoongi wo karenge. Ok so now listen Hayaat dhoodh pee le uske baad aap dono saare toys find karoge and Hayaat ke toy chest mein rakhoge. Then full day no TV no video games... Bahar garden mein khelenge...

Hayaat: But ammi mera cartoon ...

Rahat: But Haya mera match...

Haya: Kuch nahi bahar fresh air mein jaao dono. Jab dekho tab TV ya video games.

Hayaat and Rahat both pouted as they would have to miss their cartoon and cricket match. The cribbed as they picked the toys. Hayaat and Rahat both made faces at each other. Hayaat was three and it was the ideal time to plan their second child but Haya did not agree with Rahat. She could not handle three kids. She smiled at Rahat and Hayaat's condition and behavior.

Hayaat: Abbu because of you...

Rahat: Hayaat because of you...

Hayaat: I don't like you...

Rahat: Even I don't like you...

After Hayaat and Rahat were done picking up the toys they went outside to play just like ammi Haya told them to. She sat on an armchair on the porch and looked at them. She then began to captire the sweet memories on the camera. Haya and Rahat had captured every moment of Hayaat's life. They had innumerous pictures of her. They always hept the handy cam ready incase she did something cute. Many home movies were made. Hayaat and Rahat played catch. If they broke a window glass or a flower pot they pointed to the other. In order to apologize to Haya they planted a new rose bush in a pot. Hayaat sneaked up from behind him and sprinkled water on Rahat. Rahat ran after her and then he wet Hayaat too. Haya smiled on seeing them. When she was not looking at them they snuck up on her and sprinkled water on her. Haya ran after them. All three of them were rolling on the grass tickling each other. Their laughter filled the air. Haya, Rahat and Hayaat lived happily ever after...

Chapter 4 Teaser

Unknown to Rahat and Haya Shoaib heard what Rahat told Haya. Haya too read Rahat's lips and felt very bad. She felt like someone ripped her heart out when Rahat said that he will stay away from her.
