We had some flashes into Aahil's childhood today. It seems he never got any attention from anyone. So he pinned his hopes on his stepmother, that had she been there things would've been different.
And yet today, it wasn't her who remembered his birthday. No one remembered it. So heartbreaking, to have your childhood hopes crash like that.
He realizes that it was Sanam who got him a cake. I thought at least a smile or a thanks. but ...
He got mad instead.
(Like that's normal... Someone gets you a cake, the ONLY person who remembered your birthday, and you YELL at her ?!?!!)
God, If I could only strangle this fellow!
He verbally attacks her motives, implying that she is doing this to gain something. Like what Aahil? umm, a thank you Sanam, perhaps?
And what happens when you light a firecracker? It explodes.
And that Sanam did. She blasts him that he is always looking for ulterior motives in everything, so calculative.
How can I NOT remember? All this is because your birthday is today!!

This is the first time someone remembered his birthday. The first time someone made a gesture for him. He relights the candle and sings the most heartwrenching "Happy birthday" I've heard.
Aahil, I'm so mad at you, but you made me cry today. Poor lonely, wretched soul. I'd give you a hug and the biggest birthday party ever!

Haya finds out about Badi Ammi, right in the middle of Rahat's romantic moment. Finally, Dilshaad will have one of her grandkids by her side. (Really, if Sanam was in the hospital, then Aahil would find out THE reason she agreed to the marriage, makes no sense that she doesn't visit!!!)
Wow, that baba was full on apocalypse creepy!! ALLAH KABHI NAHIN MAAF KAREGA !! Yipes. But on a serious note, Tanveer is Evil and all, but there's no rule that people who have sinned can't pray and ask forgiveness. She is greedy, but it does look that she feels remorse over the murders. But bring on the payback upon Tanveer!!
