Scene 1
The episode opens with a police inspector and a few constables leading a masked prisoner named Takiya to the CID team consisting of ACP sir, Daya sir and the others. Takiya taunts them and gloats that he has extraordinary hearing power. The inspector asks if they should unmask him, but ACP sir says they need to verify if he's the real Takiya. They take him to a room with a safe. ACP sir orders to take off his chains and tells him to open the safe while still blinded with the mask. Takiya complies and succeeds at it. Daya sir removes his mask, and he starts gloating again. ACP sir remembers how Takiya had boasted that he (ACP sir) will have to bow before his talents one day, and after sending off the police asks for Takiya to be taken to another room. ACP sir orders him to open a much larger and secure safe kept there. Takiya says he doesn't want his skills openly displayed and will do it only if they all leave him alone in the room. The team gives him 5 minutes and moves out to watch him via a CCTV camera.
ACP sir explains that the safe contains a lethal chemical that the security agencies luckily confiscated in Mumbai, and they need Takiya's help to open it. Takiya is seen dancing and fooling around in the room; abruptly, he approaches the camera and smashes it. They're unable to open the door to the room; the technician tries entering the password into the control panel but it doesn't work until the second time. They enter the room to find Takiya lying dead upon the floor. They're utterly shocked because the room had once one entrance which they were guarding, and Takiya had no means to commit suicide. Pankaj finds the broken camera while the safe lies open with only an empty glass jar in it. Daya sir construes the jar might've contained some gaseous poison which was let out when the safe was opened, and killed Takiya. ACP sir says the gas should still have been there since the room has no windows or outlets. He orders for Takiya's body to be taken to the forensic lab.
Scene 2
Takiya's corpse is being taken in an ambulance while Dushyant, Nikhil and another officer follow behind. They discuss whether Takiya had a heart attack or something.
Scene 3
ACP sir, Daya sir and others are seen examining the room. ACP sir says someone, somehow managed to get into the room and steal that dangerous chemical. Pankaj says the jar was perhaps empty all along, but ACP sir says the security incharge Mahesh's information is reliable. He tells Pankaj to call Mahesh. Vaibhav enters and ACP sir tells him to examine the jar.
Scene 4
Dushyant and co are seen on their way behind the ambulance. They briefly stop at a red light.
Scene 5
Pankaj returns saying Mahesh's phone is switched off and nobody at his house or office knows about his whereabouts. They start suspecting Mahesh's involvement in the crime. The scene switches back to team Dushyant. Without warning, the ambulance explodes and goes up in flames. Dushyant informs ACP sir of the incident; the latter instructs him to call Dr. Salunkhe there. Daya sir says it seems to be a deep conspiracy. Vaibhav is unable to find anything in the jar. ACP sir tells him to keep working while they find out about Mahesh. Daya sir stays with Vaibhav while the others exit.
Scene 6
Dr. Salunkhe examines the remains of the ambulance and the bodies of Takiya and hospital staff, and says that the corpses have been totally blasted apart making further examination really tough. However, he assures he'll somehow find out the cause of Takiya's demise.
Scene 7
ACP sir and the others visit Mahesh's office and meet his boss. One of the employees says he'd seen Mahesh going off hurriedly towards the parking lot talking on phone. ACP sir asks for Mahesh's phone records.
Scene 8
Abhijeet sir and Shreya visit the forensic lab. Dr. Salunkhe shows them an archived X-Ray of Takiya's teeth and the X-Rays of bodies found in the blasted ambulance. He reveals that none of the latter X-Rays match Takiya's actual dental profile, thus his body had not been in the vehicle at all. Abhijeet sir construes that Takiya's corpse was somehow swapped during the journey itself. Salunkhe sir also shows them the remains of the bomb used in the blast. Abhijeet sir wonders where Takiya's body has been taken to
Scene 9
In the bureau, Shreya says the killer probably took away Takiya's body to cover his tracks, or that this incident could possibly linked to the missing chemical as well. They also wonder whose was the body which was swapped Takiya's in the ambulance, and how the criminal did it. An unnamed cop comes up with Mahesh's call records, which show his last call had been to one Balwant - a lock-opening expert who was the one who recommended them to use Takiya to open the safe.
Scene 10
In the safe room, ACP sir instructs Vaibhav to keep working and find out how Takiya died. He and Daya sir discuss that there was surely some kind of poison in the jar, and all this was a plan to create a diversion and steal Takiya's body. They say they need to catch the culprit as soon as possible.
Scene 11
Dushyant and Nikhil arrive at the red signal where they had stopped, as it was the only possible place where the bodies were swapped. They notice a gutter cover right at the spot where the ambulance had stopped, and construe Takiya's body had been taken from there. They proceed to find out where the gutter opens.
Scene 12
Sachin and Pankaj arrive at Balwant's place and find him missing. Sachin says he and Mahesh must have fled together. He wonders why Mahesh called Balwant when Takiya had already opened the safe, and guesses there's still some lock he needs opened. They see blood dripping out of a cupboard and find Balwant's badly wounded corpse inside. Pankaj says Mahesh must've murdered him to prevent him from leaking details about the chemical to them.
Scene 13
In the safe room, Vaibhav gives up and is disheartened that he wasn't able to find anything. Salunkhe sir arrives and he and ACP sir encourage him. Salunkhe sir tests the jar and finds that some sort of poisonous chemical had indeed been stored in it (have the writers been reading DemonSingh? 2 minutes wala punch use kiya idhar 😛 ). He says he'll take the jar to the forensic lab to find out if this very chemical claimed Takiya's life as well.
Scene 14
Dushyant and the others arrive at the gutter's last opening and question a guy there, who informs that some municipal workers had indeed emerged from the gutter at noon with a sack. Dushyant decides to find out from the municipality who these people were.
Scene 15
(Basically a lengthy scene involving the disgraceful humiliation of a respected senior. Anybody still interested is welcome to check it out in all its glory on Youtube.)
Scene 16
Abhijeet sir, Freddy sir and Shreya enter the forensic lab. Dr. Salunkhe melts the jar in some machine and examines its remains to find out that it had contained a biological warfare chemical. He says it can't have evaporated into the air or all the officers entering the safe room would've been affected. Freddy sir wonders whether Takiya consumed it; Salunkhe sir agrees saying the chemical physically resembles milk. Abhijeet sir understands that Takiya's body was stolen to retrieve the chemical from within it. Salunkhe sir says the culprits need to be stopped immediately as the chemical is lethal enough to cause mass destruction.
Scene 17
In some abandoned warehouse, we see Takiya's corpse lying on a table and his blood being slowly siphoned out of it. The hooded culprit prowls around it gloating how he used the CID to get the chemical for him and then whisked away the body under their noses.
Scene 18
Dushyant and team visit the municipality and find out one Harish was on duty at that gutter. Harish is called and tells them that he had not gone to work that day due to a hangover, and sent one of his friends Bablu there instead. He says Bablu can be found at a liquor shop.
Scene 19
The team meets the drunken Bablu (lovely performances by Abhijeet sir and Freddy sir here) and sobers him up. He reveals that the ambulance driver's friend had told him where the ambulance was going to stop over the gutter, and paid him to switch the bodies. He says he never saw the man, who simply left the case outside his house with a letter, and the body swapped with Takiya's was stolen from a morgue.
Scene 20
Abhijeet sir, Freddy sir and the others visit the morgue and sharply question the attendant, who confesses that one ward boy Raju had bribed him to steal the body. He says Raju has left for his village, and also remembers he had strangely refused to give him a bottle of milk he was carrying. Abhijeet sir remembers what Dr. Salunkhe had said about the warfare chemical physically resembling milk, and realizes what happened. The attendant says Raju is supposed to be catching a bus at some stop at 4:00 PM.
Scene 21
The team enters the bus Raju had been boarding. Seeing them, he drops the bottle of chemical and flees. Toxic fumes from the chemical spread in the bus which Freddy sir works hard on evacuating. Abhijeet sir and Dushyant chase and capture Raju, and Abhijeet sir slaps him hard. After some not-so-gentle interrogation, Raju agrees to blab everything.
Scene 22
Abhijeet sir and the team raid the main villain's hideout and capture him following a shootout. They unmask him; he turns out to be the employee Vibhush at Mahesh's office who had claimed to see him walking out. Abhijeet sir hands him a tight SLAP (tm). Vibhush confesses Mahesh had managed to apprehend a terrorist with the locked safe containing a bio-warfare chemical, and Vibhush involved him in a plan to sell the chemical to an enemy country for millions. They instructed unknowing Takiya to drink the chemical within the safe and used the CID to get Takiya to open it. They then swapped and stole his body and got the ambulance blasted, and retrieved the chemical from his body (unanswered: even if the vehicle stood over the gutter, how did the cops not notice them swapping the bodies? Did the vehicle have a hidden door underneath? And how did the chemical not get contaminated or escape from the body?). He says he murdered Balwant to turn the suspicion on Mahesh, and buried Mahesh's body somewhere. He expresses no regret for endangering innocent lives and says he only desired to get filthy rich. Abhijeet sir condemns his evil crimes and says he'll be executed for them.
