Anushka Sharma Irked at Getting Flak

Last week, BizAsia brought you news that Anushka Sharma was keeping cricketer Virat Kohli company in London where he was touring with team India. However, it seems the actress is upset about him receiving flak for his performance not being up to the mark and that she is being blamed for distracting him.
A source close to Sharma told Deccan Chronicle, "As a couple, it's their choice how they want to spend time with each other. Did Virat's presence affect the shooting schedule of Dil Dhadakne Do in Spain? Did he interfere in her work? It's unfair to blame Anushka for the scores and the performance of the Indian cricket team".
Jokes on social media were popular on the couple and how Sharma was proving a liability somewhat to Kohli's poor form on the cricket field. Unfortunately for them, they are under the spotlight constantly and what with them visiting each other regularly, it was only a matter of time before one got the blame for the other's lack of interest somewhat in their own respective career.

Well why should she take the blame?

Obsessive fan girls and crazy cricket fans are the ones blaming her. Fan girls just hate her, period. Cricket fans expect him to play well in every match and also think he'd be single because he's playing for India. Virat doesn't seem to care what they think though.😆 Anu has been with him since July 16th.😉 They have been spotted at various restaurants pretty much every evening.

In all seriousness, if these people know Virat even a little bit, they'd know he's a very focused guy. His father's death didn't distract him so I don't think there is anything out there that will. He's going through a bad patch. Instead of cracking jokes about him and Anushka, they'd try and be a bit supportive. I hope Anu is ignoring the hate because its not her fault.

Anushka should take it as compliment, the guy couldn't perform well(on field) because of you 😆

Just like DP was blamed for Kingfisher going bankrupt or Dhoni's form and Yuvi's cancer. *SMH*

This was part of the reason why I hoped she knew what she was getting into...since she has issues with criticism. Crickets fans are 10000 times more passionate than BW ones and they come down hard when the players don't perform ...WAG are always blamed. If people used to start blaming and joking about Tamannah just because Virat did an ad with her then Anushka is toh his rumored GF...she's there with him in England and he's playing rather badly. 😆 Woh toh he's India's pride and we still won that he's ok, but the criticism would be MUCH worse if India was 2 down in the series. 😆

Poor Anu. Getting blamed for no fault of hers.
