Actually, if we are going to look at lies at the root of the current and possible future situations for Ankita, Naren, and Pari, let us look at all of them in a detached manner. And again, I will only address them from the POV of poor writing and strange twists.
Why did this whole thing start? because of lies - the lies that Naren and Pari told to each other about their real identities. Even if the poor explanations given by the writers for their lying about their real identities in the professional situations had some weight, why did two people who had become so close and spent so much time together waited so long to plan to tell the truth to one another? That part of the writing simply does not make any sense. If they had been truthful to each other when they started becoming good friends, this whole debacle would never have taken place. So, in a way these characters themselves were shown by the CVs to sow the seeds of their difficulties.
Then, in this day and age, neither of the two really business savvy professionals, never thought of starting a blog or something like "Aman-Ahana Love story in London", nor could they put their own pictures on facebook identifying as Naren Karmakar aka "Aman Mathur" or "Ahana" aka "Pari Kirloskar". But they still kept searching for each other on the internet. Granted that Naren was not mentally stable - but he did keep talking about London, Pizza, and Ahana and did use computer constantly as a successful businessman even in that mental condition. Another major blooper in writing. How strange is that!!!
Then comes Ankita in the picture - She did not go begging to be called "Ahana". It was Naren who started calling her by that name for some mysterious reason and then Rushali manipulated it to the greatest advantage. Ankita saw benefit for her own family in going along in the beginning and only later fell in love with Naren still thinking that Ahana is dead, only to be confronted with real Ahana in Pari when she had just discovered about her own pregnancy. And then Naren's ruthless behavior! Wouldn't anyone be flabbergasted in such a situation?
Now to Ankita's lies
1) She said she had only loved Shashank when she wanted to stop Shekhar and Pari's wedding - loving part true, "only" part a lie.
2) The baby she was carrying was not Naren's - true from her perspective since in her view, this is not the Naren she has been intimate with, a lie from the legal and DNA perspective
3) She had done a contract marriage - a lie from the point of view of what happened before and immediately after Ankita-Naren marriage; but true in legal terms because Rushali got her to sign the documents
Should Pari suffer because of these? No. She should not. In all fairness, one has to appreciate that Pari has tried her best to be fair,
Is Pari suffering because of Ankita's "lies" right now? No, she is not. She is actually enjoying her time with Naren and pampering from Rushali.
Where is Ankita now? Being chased by goons in a place where she has no one and has no support system or even job. Is this Pari or Naren's fault? No, it is Ankita's choice. But does she deserve sympathy and appreciation? Absolutely. None of her lies were for selfish purposes. She got caught in a web of circumstances in which she took a decision to the best of her abilities and her inclination as a self-respecting woman. Her choice may not be perfect, but the last thing she needs under the circumstances is critique.
Besides, the show is about relationships and not about legal rights that can be proved in the court. Ankita's choices are with regard to what she thinks important in relationships and not in terms of legalities.
Finally, the concern about Pari's future suffering is only an expectation based on a pattern that the writers of this show have followed. It has not come to pass, at least not yet. Who knows they may surprise us this time! At least that is the hope of many of us!!! Many of us do not want Naren to be anywhere near Ankita till the end. If Naren's memory is beginning to be triggered, which is another strange twist in writing since it just waited for the wedding to be over, then his tough luck! No sympathy there. For Pari's sake, we only hope that even when he remembers things, it only makes him uneasy and guilt-ridden and not affect his marriage with Pari.
But to blame Ankita's lies for what we expect to happen but has actually not happened yet does not seem fair in my perspective.
I will only say that I respect everyone's opinion. My gripe as always is with the story development - which I find very strange!!
