Part 3(A)
In afternoon at SM, all r sitting in d hall.
"Mamu, I don't think dat guy right for Nikhat. Did u saw his ammi's attitude? She indirectly commented abt Nikhat's complexion," said Ayaan.
"Ayaan, dat guy n his family is nice n cultured," said Gaffur.
"Dat guy is not like Asad n his family who r modern," said Shirin.
"Ammi plz, don't say anything wrong abt bhaijaan n his family. Wats wrong in being modern?" asked Ayaan.
"Asad n his family r too modern. Being modern people forget their own culture. Asad's sister wears disgusting clothes dat r not of our culture," replied Razia.
"Wonder wat kind of woman vl Asad marry? Who knows he vl marry a modern woman who wears western clothes n even works outside?" asked Gaffur wid annoyance.
Scene shifts to Asad n Dilshad in KV hall.
"Asad, you r 25 but still u hv not thought abt ur marriage," said Dilshad.
"Ammi, I don't want to get married. I don't want to fall in love cuz I fear dat I hurt any girl. After all, I am d son of Mr. Rashid Ahmed Khan," said Asad.
"Hope, u change ur mind one day. By d way, wat type of girl wud u ever like to get married?" asked Dilshad.
"D girl who I want to get married sud be modern n progressive in thinking like us (A car stops outside KV n a girl comes out of d car 4m d back-seat. Her face is not shown. She is wearing a grey t-shirt, white printed jacket n blue short skirt). Dat girl sud be smart n bold (D girl starts walking 2wards d gate. Her face is still not shown). Dat girl sud be independent. She sud live according to today's time. She sud be sweet, kind, beautiful, understanding, cheerful, funny, caring n friendly (D girl's face is shown n she is none other than Zoya. Zoya's funny music starts playing in d bg as she walks 2wards d gate wid a smile on her face.)
Others also comes out of d car. Zoya stands near d gate. Others come near her.
"Lets go inside," said Sikandar.
"U hv a very nice choice. I hope u get a girl like dat one day," said Dilshad wid a smile.
"Ammi, I just said abt d type of girl I want. Dat does not means I am ready for love n marriage," said Asad.
"Hope u change ur mind one day," said Dilshad.
D doorbell rings. A servant opens d door. Dilshad is happy to see Farooqui family.
"Aslaam waalekum," said Nazneen wid a smile.
"Waalekum salaam. Plz, come inside," said Dilshad wid a smile.
Asad gets shocked n amazed to see Zoya. He keeps lukn at her wid a slight smile on his face. Zoya then sees Asad n freaks out.
"Wat r u doing here?" asked Zoya.
"Zoya, do u know him?" asked Sikandar.
"Nana, he is d same guy who tried to run his car over me. He is one of dat moron Akram's goon. I am not going to live here in dis house," replied Zoya annoyingly.
"Do I luk like a goon to u?" asked Asad shockingly.
"Even goons luk decent. In many movies, d villians also luk hot, handsome n dashing like u," replied Zoya rolling her eyes.
Asad n others r shocked wid her reply.
"U even managed to find dat v r cumn in dis house. Just get lost 4m here before u r kicked out," said Zoya pointing a finger at him.
Asad puts her finger down n said calmly, "No one vl kick me out 4m my own house."
"Wat do u mean by my own house?" asked Zoya.
"Zoya, he is not a goon. He is Dilshad Mausi's son Asad," said Nazneen.
Zoya's eyes becomes wide in shock while Asad smiles.
"Then how come u knew so much abt me wen v met in d mazhar?" asked Zoya.
"A day before ur wedding, I saw ur n Zeenat di's photo in d magazine so I came to know more abt both of u. I had already heard abt both of u 4m ammi," replied Asad n picked up d magazine dat was kept on d table n showed them d article.
Farooquis smiled seeing d article.
"V did not knew dat both of urs aticle came in d magazine," said Anwar wid a smile.
"And they hv chosen such nice photos for both of u," said Nazneen wid a smile.
"It was Mausi who called me in d marriage hall dat some goons went after u otherwise v wud not hv known soon," said Zeenat.
"Thanks Mausi," said Zoya wid a smile.
"No need to thanks, beta," said Dilshad wid a smile.
"Ammi had even told me abt u getn married to ur boyfriend. But on dat day, I saw running in d mazhar. Then I n my step-brother Ayaan saw u teln d police to arrest those goons. After d police went away, u lukd worried. So, I thought of dropping u since I knew u but I sud not hv called u by ur name n said dat u ran 4m ur wedding cuz dats d reason u r thinking me n Ayaan as d goons of Akram. I sud hv helped u in some other way," said Asad.
"I am sorry for dis. I sud say sorry to Ayaan too," said Zoya.
"Its okay," said Asad, "It was not ur fault. Ayaan vl understand too."
"Well, I am Zoya Zainab Farooqui," said Zoya wid a smile extending her hand.
Asad was shocked dat Zoya uses her mother's name as her middle name too along wid her mother's surname instead of her father's name n surname.
"I am Asad Ahmed Khan," said Asad wid a smile shaking her hand.
He felt amazing on feeling her hand while shaking her hand. Others too introduced themselves to each other. Then, all of them sat for lunch.
"Why u both sisters use ur mother's name instead of ur father's name along wid ur names?" asked Asad curiously.
"Cuz v both in fact we all hate dat man who left us wen I was 10 n Zoya was 6. V came to know dat he never loved our ammi n even us. He loved an another woman wid whom he had a 2 year old daughter. He had only married our ammi for her money. He managed to take so much money 4m her n then left us. He then left New York for Bhopal along wid his another wife n their daughter. While v all were in New York, dat man wud hardly live wid us. He used to give d excuse d work n travelling. In reality, he wud spend most of d time wid dat woman who he later married 6 years after marrying our ammi. He was never wid us on our ammi's n our birthdays. V celebrated our birthdays widout our abbu. Wen v all came to know abt his real face, he told us dat he never loved us like his daughters n he had only daughter n he only attended her birthday. Wen our ammi died, he did not bothered to know abt her n us. V lived like orphans. Dats why, v hate dat man who is unfortunately our abbu n does not use his name," replied Zeenat in an emotional n furious tone.
Asad n Dilshad were shocked to hear dis. Asad cud believe dat their past is so much shocking n painful than his past. His ammi had told him abt their abbu leaving them but they had not known so much abt them. Till now, he has known d sisters as modern n successful women who even learnt martial arts. But now, he is getn to know abt their terrible past where they never known a father's love n lived like orphans after losing their ammi. But, he admires n respects them for being strong n independent.
"V vl leave New York in d evening for 2 weeks. Zoya vl stay in Bhopal. V wanted to take her too but she is teln dat she wants to spend more time. Dats why, v decided to make her stay wid all of u cuz v all don't want her to live alone in our house," said Sikandar.
"Its okay chachajaan," said Dilshad wid a smile, "Zeenat n Zoya r also like my daugthers. It vl be nice to hv Zoya in dis house for 2 weeks."
"Zoya, v r leaving d car for u," said Nazneen wid a smile.
"Okay nani," said Zoya wid a smile.
Asad was lukn at Zoya who was silently eating her food. Dilshad noticed him lukn at Zoya 4m a long time. She was surprised dat he never lukd at a girl so much. He also used to talk so much abt her every time he met n she thought him as a goon. Dilshad smiled.
After lunch, Asad goes to his room. He calls Ayaan.
"Hello bhaijaan," said Asad.
"Ayaan, u won't believe it. Zoya's family is in our house n Zoya is going to live in our house for 2 weeks," said Asad teln him every thing on how Zoya vl live in his house.
Ayaan is shocked.
"Bhaijaan, how can u let her live in ur house?" asked Ayaan shockingly, "Dat chudail vl break all ur bones n then eat u alive in these 2 weeks."
"Ayaan, all d misunderstandings r cleared. She really thought us as goons. She has apologized to me n she told dat she vl apologize to u too," replied Asad calmly.
Ayaan is again shocked. He cud not believe dat Zoya has apologized to his bhaijaan n is ready to apologize to him too. Also, his bhaijaan never talks anything wrong abt her.
"Bhaijaan, she may really be very nice. I can't believe dat a girl who v till now saw doing gunda-gardi can have d heart to apologize to someone. My family thinks dat modern people especially girls hv no manners but they never see d reality," said Ayaan.
"Dats why, I want to marry a modern girl if I marry in future," said Asad, "Farooquis are all very nice people. Both d sisters reminds me of both of us."
"Yaa, I too saw them in d cafe along wid u. They were so cool n comfortable wid each other," said Ayaan.
"Wat abt Nikhat's alliance?" asked Asad.
"Bhaijaan, I hate dat family. They sent some gifts for us but they sent fairness creams for Nikhat," replied Ayaan angrily.
Asad got shocked n angry.
"How can they insult Nikhat like dis?" asked Asad angrily.
"Bhaijaan, I asked dis elders but they only tell us dat v hv to adjust wid them. Ammi tells dat its nice dat Nikhat's future in-laws r trying to change her for her own good," replied Ayaan, "I can't understand why they don't understand dat they r insulting Nikhat."
"People who r regressive n old-fashioned in their thinking can't understand many times wat is right or wrong. They only want to think abt marrying a girl wen she crosses 18 n become grandparents as soon as possible. They don't care abt their children's feelings on wat they really want. Zeenat di n Zoya's grandparents r so modern in thinking. They hv raised them to become successful businesswomen on growing up not to get married after crossing 18 n hvng kids soon after dat. Education n career r necessary n not marriage. Marriage can come later. Zeenat di is 28 n she has 3 year old twins. Old-fashioned people wud expect her to hv 7-8 year old kids instead of 3 year old kids. Zoya is 24 n she was abt to get married to her boyfriend of 2 years but he turned out to be a bad person. Old-fashioned people mostly wud blame Zoya for running 4m d wedding n accuse her for ruining their reputation widout caring to know wat actually happened dat she did dat," said Asad.
"Bhaijaan, u said right abt people wid regressive n old-fashioned thinking. They r really very difficult. I hope dat I also marry a modern girl in future n not get stuck wid some traditional girl whom my parents, Mamu n Mumaani vl stuck me up wid," said Ayaan.
"Okay Ayaan, v vl talk later," said Asad.
"Okay bhaijaan," said Ayaan n hung up.
In d evening, all went to d air-port.
"Chhoti, take care of urself," said Zeenat wid a smile.
Zoya hugged her n said wid a smile, "Don't worry, di. I vl take care of myself."
They broke d hug.
"Don't worry, Zoya vl be happy wid us. Najma vl also come 2mrw evening 4m her college trip," said Dilshad wid a smile.
Zoya bade them goodbye as they went in their flights. As d flight tuk off, Zoya had unhappy expression on her face. Asad saw her lukn unhappy.
"Wat happened?" asked Asad.
"I am already missing them," replied Zoya.
"Zoya, lets go home," said Dilshad wid a smile, "I know u r unhappy wid ur family leaving but they vl return after 2 weeks."
"Yaa Mausi, lets go home," said Zoya.
D car ride was silent. Zoya sat at d right window-seat while Asad sat at s left window-seat. Dilshad was sitting between them. D driver was driving d car. Zoya waseither doing sumthn on her cell or just lukn outside d window. She did not to any of them but just sat quietly. Asad lukd at her in between n Dilshad noticed it. Dilshad n Asad saw Zoya hardly talking wid them in d house. She just sat in her room or talked wid Zeenat. Even Zeenat n Anwar hardly talked wid them. They only chatted wid Sikandar n Nazneen. They reached home after some time. Zoya went to her room n did not came before d dinner.
During d dinner, only Dilshad n Asad talked while Zoya ate quietly. Asad lukd at her in between while eating. She lukd so quiet n innocent. Dilshad wud always notice him lukn at Zoya. She wud wonder wat Asad saw special in her dat he luks at her so much. There r many girls of their relatives or friends visited them be it modern or traditional but she never saw Asad lukn any of d girl d way he luks Zoya many times.
"Zoya, I know u r feeling weird to live wid people u don't knew earlier but u vl like living here," said Dilshad wid a smile.
"Mausi, I don't feel weird but it vl take time for me to bond wid u all," said Zoya.
"I sud become friends wid Zoya. Its not necessary dat I vl hurt her like my father if I fall in love wid her," thinks Asad.
After dinner, Asad went to his room.
"She is so quiet now. I need to become her friend. Don't know why I am getn so much attracted to her," said Asad.
He came near d hall. He saw Zoya was sitting quietly on d hall couch. Dilshad came n sat next to her.
"Zoya, u did not slept," said Dilshad.
"Mausi, I vl sleep in some time," said Zoya.
"Zoya, wat had happened dat u broke d wedding?" asked Dilshad, "I know it was not ur fault. I can't believe dat man can send goons after u. I want to know everything."
Zoya lukd at Dilshad softly.
"Mausi, I n Akram studied in d same law college. He was not a US citizen. He only came for studying in US. During our 5th dat is last year in law college, he became my friend at d start of d last year. V were in same group for many projects along wid some other students. He started asking me for help in studies. I was a Top 5 student among 100-150 students in our batch. He was okay in studies but his ranking used to be between 90 n 100. Wen I started helping him in studies, his ranking improved n he came 18th in d 1st examination of our last year while I came 5th. He thanked me a lot n told me my help has really worked. He requested me to help him in final exam too. V started studying in group studies along wid other students. Sometimes, v both used to study alone for longs hours in library. After a week of our results of our 1st exam in d last year, he proposed me at one of my female friend's party. I accepted his proposal since I found him very nice n friendly. Also, he was a muslim n his hometown was in Bhopal. These things I found common in us. So, I accepted his proposal. V then became a couple. Everyone cheered for us. For our final exam, v spend a lot of time 2gthr. I used to help him in studies. In d final exam, I came 3rd n he came 14th. Like me, he too had a family business. He told me he wants to make his own identity along wid running d business. Dat was one more common thing in us. After our studies, I n Akram started working. I worked both as a lawyer n also ran business along wid di, nana n nani. Akram's father had expanded their family business in New York too. So, Akram's employees used to run d business while he worked as a lawyer. 2 years after v became a couple, v decided to get married. V only had engagement n decided to get married widout many rituals. But, I never knew dat d man who I loved so much was only using me for 2 years for his benefit n wud leave me after using me," replied Zoya.
She then told her wat she n her di saw before her wedding dat she broke d marriage.
"Mausi, I can't such cheap men exists in dis world who don't care abt someone who loves them truly. Di had told me to luk for Akram before d wedding teln me not to think abt d old-fashioned ritual of bride n groom not seeing each other before d wedding. Anyways, even if di wud not hv told dat I myself hv suggested to luk for Akram," said Zoya.
Dilshad n Asad were shocked n angry as Zoya said everything.
"Zoya, u sud stop thinking abt d person who does not knows ur value," said Dilshad.
"I don't want to think abt him abt such a person but I can't help thinking dat I wasted my 2 years wid dat jerk who don't respect women," said Zoya.
"Its hard to forget everything but u sud move on n think abt good things u want to do in ur future," said Dilshad wid a smile.
"It was nice talking to u, Mausi," said Zoya wid a smile, "I sud go sleep now. Good Night."
"Good Night, beta," said Dilshad wid a smile, "U can talk to me anything u want."
Zoya n Dilshad went to their rooms. Asad too quietly went back to his room.
Asad was sitting on his bed. He recalled Zoya falling in his arms at d mazhar. He then recalls Zoya crying in d mazhar. He was feeling angry wid d man who broke her heart n played wid her feelings. How cud dat man hurt a girl like Zoya? She has helped him a lot n truly loved him but he always used her n was planning to dump after using her till he wants. She may be still shocked n heartbroken wid d truth of her boyfriend. He played wid her heart for 2 years. If both d sisters hv not broken d old-fashioned ritual then they wud not hv seen Akram's real face before d wedding n Zoya wud hv gotten married to him. He wants to become her friend. He is attracted to her n it did not happened wid any other girl. He is sure dat he vl not hurt her like his father if he falls in love wid her. But she is very hurt due to Akram who was her boyfriend for 2 years. Wat if he too hurts her? He vl never think of hurting her but due to Akram, he started fearing again. If it happens then she vl again be heartbroken which he does not wants. No, he sud not befriend her. He sud stay away 4m her. For dat, he sud make her hate him so dat it vl be easy for him to forget her once she leaves his house. He sud tell ammi n Najma dat they sud play a prank on her. He thinks dat she sud get a nice guy who vl truly love her n never break her heart.
Next morning, after breakfast Asad n Dilshad r sitting on d hall couch. Zoya was not in d house. Asad calls Najma.
Scene shifts to Najma who at her college trip is sitting in her tent. She is very beautiful n pretty but is a bit plump. She has shoulder length wavy hair. She is wearing a blue t-shirt n black casual shorts. She answered d call.
"Hello bhaijaan," said Najma.
"Tamatar, wen r u cumn back?" asked Asad.
Asad has kept Tamatar as her nickname.
"In d evening, bhaijaan," replied Najma.
"Tamatar, v hv a guest in our house. No not a guest but she is ammi's friend's daughter Zoya. She is very modern like us. V sud play a prank wid her for some days. V hv to trick into thinking dat I am very old-fashioned n traditional," said Asad.
"Bhaijaan, is she same Zoya who ran 4m her wedding n who made ur n Ayaan bhaijaan's life hell?" asked Najma wid a laugh.
"Yaa Tamatar, she is same Zoya," replied Asad.
"So, u r doing dis to take revenge 4m her?" asked Najma.
"No Tamatar, it was not her fault. I am just in mood to play prank wid her to see how she handles a regressive person," replied Asad.
"Okay, tell me d plan," said Najma.
Asad tells her d plan(in mute to d readers). Najma is shocked as he tells her abt his plan. Dilshad too is shocked. She has no clue why he wants to do all dis.
Scene shifts to Zoya drivng on d road. She was wearing a purple sleeveless t-shirt n jeans. She stops her at a bike's showroom. She enters d showroom.
"Mam, can I help u?" asked one of d salesman.
"I want to buy a bike," replied Zoya.
"Let me show u some of d best bikes," said d salesman.
"Okay," said Zoya.
While Zoya was lukn at d bikes, Ayaan enters d showroom.
"Excuse me, I want to buy a bike," said Ayaan.
"U can see some of d best models there," said d salesman.
Ayaan went to see d bikes where Zoya is standing. He did not saw her face as her back was facing him. While seeing d bikes, both r shocked to see each other.
"Zoya," said Ayaan.
"Don't worry, I vl not beat u n I know dat u r not a goon," said Zoya, "I am sorry for thinking u as a goon, threatening u and teln those men to beat u."
"Its okay, Zoya. Bhaijaan told me dat u r living in his house," said Ayaan, "U acted according to d situation u were in. U were only trying to protect urself."
"Thanks for understanding, Ayaan," said Zoya.
"Lets become friends," said Ayaan wid a smile.
Zoya smiled n shook hands wid him.
"I feel like punching dat guy cuz of whom u made our living difficult," said Ayaan.
"I don't even want to think abt dat guy," said Zoya coldly, "He never loved me. He only used me for 2 years. I came to know d truth just before our wedding."
Ayaan was shocked n angry to hear dat. He cud not believe how he use a girl like her? He cud not blame her for thinking them as goons. She may be going thru a difficult time as her own boyfriend sent goons after just cuz she ran 4m d wedding.
"Dat guy was really stupid to hurt a girl like u," said Ayaan.
"No girl deserves a cheap guy like him," said Zoya coldly.
"My family is getn my younger sister married. She is 19 n in her 2nd year of college. She loves dancing which is her passion. Her complexion is darker than our complexion but she luks pretty n the guy's ammi always taunts her indirectly. Yesterday, she sent some gifts for us n for my sister she sent fairness creams. I got very angry cuz they directly insulted my sister. Is it right for my sister to marry in dat family?" asked Ayaan.
Zoya was shocked as she heard dat.
"Ayaan, don't u think its too early for her to get married?" asked Zoya.
"I know but my family does not understands," replied Ayaan.
"As for ur sister, if her consent is taken for marriage then its fine. But her studies sud be taken care d most. If she wants to work after marriage then it sud be agreed upon. If her wud be husband n in-laws agree wid her completing her studies n her working if she wants then she sud marry in dat family. D guy's ammi sud not taunt ur sister for her complexion n sending fairness creams is too much. If d guy really likes ur sister then he vl stop his ammi 4m insulting ur sister in any way n vl also support her if she wants to complete her studies n work. If he is really interested in her then he vl marry her only at least after her completing her studies. If d guy never supports her in any of her wishes or his ammi taunting her then u all sud beware n keep an eye on dat family before thinking of marrying her in dat family. U all take care of even d small signs n signals u notice," said Zoya.
Ayaan was amazed wid her suggestion. He found her suggestion nice.
"By d way, wat is guy's age n wat does he do?" asked Zoya.
"He is 24. He is a lawyer but he has family business too," repied Ayaan.
"He is 24 n ur sister is 19. He is in his professional way n ur sister is still studying in college. Talk to ur sister da twat she really wants," said Zoya.
"U r right," said Ayaan n asked, "Hv u become friends wid bhaijaan?"
"No, v hardly talked," replied Zoya, "I take a little time in becoming friends wid strangers."
"Hope u become friends wid him too," said Ayaan.
"Hope so," said Zoya.
"Which bike u chose for urself?" asked Ayaan.
"Karizma ZMR," replied Zoya n asked, "Wat abt u?"
"Ur choice is good. I am confused. I vl ask bhaijaan's suggestion," replied Ayaan.
Zoya ordered for her bike.
"Mam, u vl get ur bike 2mrw," said d salesman.
"Okay. Thank u," said Zoya.
"I hv not yet decided abt my bike. I vl come later," said Ayaan.
"Okay," said d salesman.
Zoya n Ayaan came out of d showroom n went in their separate cars.
In d afternoon, Zeenat called Zoya.
"Hello," said Zoya.
"Chhoti, v hv reached New York," said Zeenat.
"Di, I am missing u all," said Zoya.
"Zoya, v too r missing u but v vl return after 2 weeks," said Zeenat.
"Yaa but I vl get bored till then," said Zoya.
"U can bond wid Mausi, Asad n Najma," said Zeenat.
"Yaa I vl try," said Zoya.
"Take care, Chhoti," said Zeenat.
"U too, di," said Zoya n hung up.
In d evening, Najma returns in d house wearing a tradition green churidar dress wid a long fake braid hiding her short hair. Asad n Dilshad r in d hall.
"Zoya," called Dilshad.
Zoya came in d hall.
"Wat happened, Mausi?" asked Zoya.
"Zoya, she is Najma," replied Dilshad wid a smile, "Najma, she is Zoya."
"Hi Najma, nice to meet u," said Zoya wid a smile extending her hand.
"Nice to meet u too, Zoya," said Najma wid a smile shaking her hand.
"Najma, I was waiting for u. If u r free, shall v both go to d mall for shopping clothes at 7pm?" asked Zoya.
Asad smiled seeing both of them bonding but he sud start his plan which is prank for Najma n his ammi.
"7pm?" asked Asad shockingly, "No one especially women go outside dis house after 7pm. All sud come in d house before 7pm."
"Wats wrong in going out at 7pm?" asked Zoya shockingly.
"Being a modern n NRI girl, u does not hv any manners on how to dress. I vl never allow Najma to dress like u," replied Asad in an annoyed tone.
Dilshad n Najma were not shocked as they thought it as a prank but Zoya was shocked by his behaviour cuz till now he was normal n polite wid her.
"Excuse me? Wats wrong in these clothes?" asked Zoya wid irritation.
"Modern girls like u forgets our culture n traditions. U girls only to wear western clothes n forget abt our traditional clothes. U all don't hv manners n etiquettes on how to live ur life. U girls stay out of d house even after 7-8pm. Now, u r even trying to spoil my sister n I vl not let it happen. U sud not wear these clothes till u r here," replied Asad wid frustration.
Zoya had enough.
"What the f?" asked Zoya wid frustration, "Just cuz I am hearing ur nonsense 4m some time does not u can speak anything u want. Who r u tell to anyone wat to wear? I vl wear wat I like. Ur screws r loose which u need to tighten. Dats why, u r talking nonsense things. In which century u r living? Even kids stay out after 7pm either for their tuition classes or various activities classes. Dunno wat type of a man you are? U better get a life."
Zoya went to her room in frustration. Asad is shocked but he is satisfied wid her getn angry wid him.
"Its good to see u angry, Zoya. It's a matter of 2 weeks," thinks Asad.
"Bhaijaan, she got frustrated wid u. U sud stop dis prank," said Najma.
"Asad, dis is not right. U sud stop dis prank. U sud not say all these things to her. U sud instead befriend her," said Dilshad.
"Najma, ammi, I am doing wat I feel is okay," said Asad n to his room.
Dilshad was shocked at wat happened to him n dat he wants to keep dis prank going. Is it really a prank or sumthn else is going in his mind which others don't know?
During dinner, all were eating quietly. Asad tuk his glass of water. He then tuk a tissue n started wiping sumthn on his glass wid d tissue. Others lukd on shockingly.
"There was a dust on it," said Asad.
"Why u need to wiped so much for a small dust?" asked Zoya confusingly.
"Cuz v must maintain cleanliness. V sud keep everything neat n tidy," replied Asad, "There r some dust on ur glass."
"I can't see any dust," said Zoya.
"There is a small dust," said Asad.
"So?" asked Zoya amusingly, "I am not like u freak over a small dust."
"Wat to expect 4m a modern girl like u? U can only be careless," said Asad annoyingly.
"Whatever," said Zoya wid attitude.
Dilshad n Najma were not liking d way Asad was behaving but they kept quiet. Asad in between eating lukd at Zoya who was quietly eating her food. Dilshad noticed it.
After d dinner, Dilshad came in Asad's room.
"Asad, u sud stop dis prank," said Dilshad.
"Why sud I stop, ammi?" asked Asad.
"Cuz u r not doing right," replied Dilshad, "U r not urself."
Asad becomes silent.
"Asad, why u became silent?" asked Dilshad, "Is dis really a prank or sumthn else is going in ur mind which v don't know?"
Asad does not replies.
"Asad, u r hiding sumthn. Tell me why u r behaving like dis wid Zoya?" asked Dilshad.
Asad thinks dat its no use of hiding to his ammi.
"Who actually ammi, u know wat type of girl I want to marry. I told u dat I don't want to fall in love. But since I saw Zoya's picture in d magazine, I felt as if I am attracted to her. I only knew dis much earlier 4m u dat she is ur friend's daughter. May be, dats why I got more interested in her or may be there is sumthn else dat got me interested in her. I never got attracted to any other girl. I see d type of girl I want in Zoya," replied Asad.
Dilshad got happy n smiled.
"So, dats why u were smiling dat day wen u were seeing her photo in d magazine?" asked Dilshad wid a smile.
"Yes ammi," replied Asad.
"Then u sud befriend Zoya. If she is in ur fate then u vl surely get her," replied Dilshad wid a smile.
"I can't do dis, ammi," said Asad unhappily.
"Why?" asked Dilshad.
"Yesterday, I came in d hall to befriend her cuz I thought dat even if I fall in love wid her I vl never hurt her like my abbu. But after I came to know abt Akram thru both of ur talks, my fears started again dat I may hurt her if I fall in love wid her. If I hurt her then she vl be again heartbroken which I don't want. She don't deserve to be hurt again due to love. Dats why, I want her to hate me so it v be easy for me to forget her," replied Asad.
Dilshad is shocked by wat he said.
"Akram is a bad person. He did not respects women. But u respect women n I always taught u the same. So, u cannot hurt her. U sud stop all dis drama," said Dilshad.
"No ammi, I can't stop," said Asad.
"Let me see till how long u can carry dis drama. Its easy to think abt carrying dis drama but hard to do it. U sud listen to ur heart whether u can really hurt her. There r many side effects to ur drama which I am u vl realize soon n u urself vl stop d drama," said Dilshad.
Asad was shocked to hear d last sentence of her.
"U r most probably saying right, ammi. I am not liking wat I am doing. Lets see till wen I can do dis drama but I can't decide wat to do," said Asad not knowing wat to say.
"Well, Good Night Asad. Hope u stop all these drama soon," said Dilshad.
"Good Night Ammi," said Asad.
Dilshad left d room. After ammi went, he started thinking wat all she she said. Ammi was saying abt d side effects of his drama or prank. Wat may be d side effects dat he vl soon realize n vl himself stop d drama? Its hard to be sumthn dat he is not actually is but he is doing dis cuz of his fearing of hurting someone. Is ammi right dat he sud listen to his heart whether he can really hurt her or not? Will he really able to carry these drama for 2 weeks? Is he really right to do dis? Will he he really get her if she is written in his fate?
Asad was not able to decide anything. He slept after some time.
Scene shifts to Zoya's room. She removes a metal box 4m her box. She unlocks d box wid lock system n opens it. She takes out a photo n luks angrily at it. D photo is of none other than Gaffur Ahmed Siddiqui who is Humeira's father n Ayaan's Maamu.
"Gaffur Ahmed Siddiqui, wherever you are we will find. U can't remain happy after destroying our lives. U made me n di as orphans. U snatched our ammi n left us to live like orphans. U may be enjoying wid ur another wife n ur daughter. But how long? Once, v get u then v vl make sure dat u lose all d happiness n gets punished for ur every crime. U may be living a life of luxury but u hv got dat life just cuz of ammi," said Zoya in an angry tone.
Scene shifts to SM. GaZia r sitting on their bed.
"I am thinking dat v sud get Humeira married to Ayaan," said Razia.
"Will they agree?" asked Gaffur.
"Ji, Humeira loves Ayaan 4m childhood so she vl get happy. Ayaan too vl agree as he has to listen to his elders," replied Razia, "V hv to think abt Humeira's happiness. 4m many years, v did a lot to get everything in d world for our family. I even let u marry another woman n hv 2 daughters wid her. V even planned to kill to her get rid of her n u killed her."
"Yes Razia, u r right. V love Ayaan too n which girl vl be better than Humeira for him? He n Humeira r great friends. He too vl start loving Humeira," said Gaffur.
Scene shifts to Zoya's room.
"U hv done a great sin, Gaffur Ahmed Siddiqui. Once we get to know abt u then we will make sure to make ur life a living hell," said Zoya in a dark tone.
A dark tune plays in d bg as she stares at his photo angrily(D tune is lifted 4m Haider's dark tune in d show. It vl be played on Zoya, Zeenat or both of them 2gthr wen they vl be in a revengeful mode.) She kept d photo in side d box n went to sleep.
Precap: #During d breakfast, Asad eats broccoli, salad, sprouts n other raw veggies in his breakfast. Dilshad tells him to eat some noodles but he refuses. He tells her dat he always like maintain his health. Zoya taunts dat a 17th century man does not knows abt noodles so he is eating grass n all. Asad is shocked n realizes a side effect of d drama.
#Asad is watching a fashion show channel. Wen Zoya enters d hall, he switches to Aastha channel. Zoya asks him why he is watching such a boring channel. He replies dat she sud also watch dis channel if she gets free time 4m watching music, movies or fashion channel. Zoya rolls her eyes n sits on another couch n starts playing game on her I-Pad. She keeps on playing for an hour while Asad gets bored of watching Aastha channel. He realizes another side effect. He wishes Zoya to leave d hall but she is busy playing games.
#In d evening, Zoya brings her bike. Asad tells her dat being a girl she is driving a bike n Zoya retorts dat he has no knowledge of 2day's times n progress as he is stuck in d 2nd century. Asad in his mind admires her bike thinking how she vl luk while driving it.
#Asad meets Ayaan at their lake adda n tells abt d prank he is playing on Zoya n how is hvng tough time wid it. Ayaan laughs n tell him dat he sud better stop his prank n befriend Zoya cuz he is messing wid a wrong girl. He tells him dat she is a nice girl who met him 2 days ago at d bike showroom n apologized to him for her behaviour. He tells him dat she gave a nice advice to him regarding Nikhat on how they sud be careful wid d guy's family.
A/N: Zoya will be quiet and hardly talk for some time with KV people as she will take time to bond with people she never known. In reality, people does not roam around and chatter like anything when they come to someone's house like Gul showed Zoya in the show. Zoya is supposed to miss her family as it happens in reality unlike in the show where she forgot that she was living in someone's house who she did not knew. Zoya will take time to be her bubbly and cheerful self with the Khan family. Imagine ourself in Zoya's place. Will we act like in someone's house from the beginning like Zoya acted from the beginning? Still, she has started sharing her issues with Dilshad like Akram's issue. As for Zoya and Ayaan, there will not be any ZoYaan or chances of that in a romantic way. Zoya and Ayaan relation is pure platonic friendship. Later, their relationship will be like of an elder sister and a younger brother because Ayaan is the son of Zoya's bua. So, there is no need to worry if I show Zoya n Ayaan scenes often. Also, Zoya only gave advice to Ayaan regarding Nikhat's marriage and not hopped quickly to help herself.
