Aliyah is stuck either way, she wont be able to forgive herself if Gauhar is playing games with her, hence her asking Gauhar today if she is lying to her cause for her went against her family, and she wont forgive herself if something might happen to the kid. The girl is stuck both ways hence her stubborn-ness reaching the peak.

TBH, I believe Aliyah is overly selfless in which she ready to sacrifice her love too, and she think that just cause Zain supported her he will this time too. But she should have remembered the two incidents he didnt, with the khadija bhi one and the doctor one. Shes fighting herself, her family, and mostly her love the man she still cant live without. Who knows she probably dying from the inside everytime she goes against Zain and that was shown so clearly today in the drunk scene.

She does not have a choice in her opinion but to go against everyone and save Gauhars child which is Rizwans child as well.

ATM Zain is hurt cause she is supporting a person who might have harmed their relationship, shes going against her love for a person who is known for lies and her nasty games. What I am scared about what if Zain questions Aliyah: what if it wasnt Rizwan but me. Would you have sacrificed everything just to get that baby a father?

I can just say Aliyah would have done the same if it was Zain, she just would have been more devastated but she would have left him.

Now the only reason I dont want Aliyah to constantly tell Gauhar that she is going to get married to Rizwan cause thats not going to happen and she is giving hope to her, when hope gets crushed it gets ugly. Gauhar might go against her in the future to get back at Aliyah for "lying" to her and tell Suraiya that it was Aliyah who gave Usman the medicine hence the slap.

I think the slap is too much, a bit over board, yes what Aliyah did is wrong but a slap no? NO MIL should be allowed to slap her DIL Period.

Z, my mom said the same thing when Aaliya was once again telling Gauhar that Rizwan would marry her. Why give the girl hope knowing how Rizwan feels? Aaliya should not be making promises to anyone.

Exactly, Zain denied threatening her. Gauhar is not as genuine as she originally seemed to be and its quite sad that she is doing this to the one person who is standing by her when her own sister would not.

Zainab if Aliya actually gets slapped by Surraiya, that will be a bit overboard. Now I am not expecting anything from Zain because considering how much he loves Usman, he will probably be still in the shock that Aliya did sth like this. Now this incident will be adding fuel to the anger of Zain. But I think the slap will mark the end of Surrauya's torture on Aliya. Now I really hope Shuban-Ghulam doesn't witness this because I want perfect timings for them to break down and this incident won't be appropriate time to break down. The question here is if they explode at the poisoning incident then that will be great because we know Zain will take this matter seriously knowing that he would have lost Aliya. I hope they show this poisoning episode in the end so that they continue the scene on Tuesday. Usman's recovery will play a crucial role here too.

The reason I am being dormant about this track and not excited at all is that...much to my chagrin, to get the intensity and self created angst into Zaya relationship, the creators have used other supporting characters as pawns to be sacrificed for the greater good of Chess game. This is ofcourse just my grudge and downside of the drama element.

Usage of Plot devices

Rizwan untimely &unromantic proposal to Ayat...so much that BI Audience missed the point that these two could have been in love for a while. - This gets them going to Bhopal. - Anyways their engagement is ruined and now even their "supposed elopement" is not what one could have imagined.

Shazia-Nafeesa-falling in pit, Fahad rescuing Shazia and out comes Nafeesa Plotting with Gas Cylinder and later her revelations about Aliya's hard days at BV to Shabana. - It is not yet clear to me, if Nafeesa is going to avenge herself. So far, it seems, she has been doubly hurt, with the Gauhar kissa for her brother. Where is Nafeesa character headed to ? Clinical depression or is there a respite?

Grumpy introduction as Unani Doctor - I wil not whine here, as this character ha just been introduced as plot aids for Slap from Suraiyya to Aliya and to have Engagement Stop Drama as Aliya sees Gauhar at Grumpy's place.

Convenient plotting from Suraiyya. Not saying anything is better in this case.

So all of these characters aid drama for Zaya. We have romantic tiffs, talks and now emotional angst due to resentments and misgivings about expected code of conduct and the anarchic freedom pursued to achieve what one set out to obtain. In all of this, the CVs compromised a lot of Aliya's character. She really is not that stubborn or headstrong to go against Zain's advice and get Unani medicine. That was created just so that she sees Gauhar. Then she is definitely not that crazy to give medicine sneakingly, it is just to have her get slapped and her parents see it...or God knows what we have in store...

Then again Aliya is not so inconsiderate to not heed Zain's words abt not leaving the house (She once equated Zain to Khuda..so how can she go against him), the CVs wrote again something, so that she leaves again to go see Gauhar, which results in much loved comeback of intensity of angst for Zaya. However to create that angst, once again, have they not made Zain go back to where he started from...drinking.

Thing I am not liking is...the angst and resentment so created is not about complex choices one has to make, this was created out by taking characters to immature level and this is not acceptable, especially after, Zaya handled a much more highly complex issue of bailing out Zubair when all evidence was against him. Aliya used her heart then even convincing matters of head, and Zain could get her message. If Aliya could have been like that before, how could she have committed so many errors now? Its impossible and yet it was created for Aliya in the present track. And that's sad for her and all characters around her. She devolves and everyone around her gets devolved in domino effect.
