Why is Karan scared of Goenkas?

Karan is son of a politician. His dad is a minister (don't remember his portfolio). He is no less rich, powerful and well connected than Goenkas.

Then why is he so shit scared of Shaurya and other Goenkas?

Is it Goenka money and muscle power that made his dad win elections?

Also, why his connections in rape and murder crimes are not explored by media or political rivals of his dad? Media and opposition are quick to sniff and blow out scandals of ministers' families. Why is Karan spared then?

Why his dad is never shown and how come guards don't always accompany rich scion like Shaurya and minister's son like Karan?

They are most powerful scions of most influential families in a metro like Kolkata. Not some sons of local sarpanch and seth in a village!

I don't understand why Karan is so scared and why he feels obliged to follow Shaurya.

I dont think Karan's father is at a very high post. Moreover even in the rape case flashbacks we only see Shaurya's parents. Where are the parents of the other three? One is a son of a flop film maker. So i guess no one is as powerful as the Goenkas.

Moreover Sakshi once threatened Dayal that she wont let him do the cancer project with anyone in India. Shaurya thinking of manipulating the CBI in the Dev's murder case. So, are they so powerful? Honestly the story is having too many loopholes(small or big). I suggest Goenka's should enroll their name in the records of Most influential familiy in the world. If only then the story could come to some logic..!

Karan's father is a minister and Shaurya asked him to get his father to shut up CBI which means he is powerful. Sakshi also asked Rajnath to get this minister to cover fake degree scandal and curb media coverage. So we can't say he is not that powerful.

Yes other parents are not there in flashbacks. Not even there in show. Too many loopholes.

To some extend I do believe that goenkas have a hand in his father's position. But atleast in one of the episodes, where Sakshi-raj were discussing the money to be given to karan's dada for transferring the comissioner , it looked that the minister is not easy to bend.?He has his own powers too. I guess Karan father listens to goenkas just because he feels his son is much safer that way.

Now for your other logical points like why are there no guards around? or why is karan is scared rat in front of Shaurya is beyond me. In the initial episodes where he would challenge shaurya on durga, I felt that he has a hidden motive to destroy shaurya or atleast to have a upper hand over him.But this karen who is against killing but yet supports shaurya ut of fear is so lame to understand.

Karens and that other guy tarun are beyond me. I guess their characters will be explored in the later episodes. As for rishi, I have a feeling he will be the first one to break apart from these so called pathetic rat friends.Well even he is one of those rats too but when durga focuses on these friends, I guess she will start with rishi.

First off all please let me know how come Goenkas are the only thing in India? As I have always maintained, power can never rest on one person. Influential people are connected to one another. Politicians helps the industrialists and vce- versa. Then there are other people like the people frm legal fraternity or local dons and so on. How come Sakshi says, "kiski itni himmat ho gayi ki Goenkas ko dhamki de?" Kyu ji ? aapke business rivals nahi hai ? Waise aapna desh capitalist country nahi hai madam ji. Ek jaise sabun ke 100 company's hai yaha par. Ek jaise soft drinks ke bhi ek hi hal hai, fir heath drinks, noodles aur kaunsi aisi chiz aap bechte ho madam ji jo koi aur nahi bechta?

Ohho ! I forgot you are builders, isn't it ? Wow! kolkata walo, property in Kolkata has to damn expensive because there is only one builder here, The great Goenkas.
