Scene 1

Kalpi went back to her room, with Paki words still fresh in her head "stay away from Raghav before you cause him more pain." She sat down on her bed and cried, while crying she fell asleep. Later on that night Raghav couldn't sleep, he kept thinking about kalpi, "who is she to me? And why does she speak of me like we where more than friends?" he says while turning around. He kept turning still thinking about their conversation, he just didn't understand why he felt lost. He got of the bed because he couldn't sleep, than he decides to go and talk with kalpi.

Getting up, he went to go see her, but he soon stop when he realize he doesn't know what room she was in. he went to the front desk and asks the nurse if she knew what room kalpi was in, she nods and told him the room number, thanking her he walks away. It took him a while to find the room but when he did he froze. What will I say to her if she asks me why I was in her room? He thought thinking about it for a while before looking thru her door. He was about to knock when he saw her sleeping on the bed. I can't disturb her; I'll probably wait until tomorrow. He thought. He was about to leave when her blanket fell on the floor. Quietly he entered her room and slowly walks to her bed, than he picks the blanket up and covers her. He looks at her face and smile he didn't know why but seeing her innocent face just made his heart feel warm.

He puts his hands on her face caressing it. Just when he was about to pull away she says something "I...Love...You" she says making him blush, but at the same time jealous

"I wonder who the guy is. I bet she miss him a lot." he says softly, he was about to leave when she says "Raghav" which surprise him. "Don't tell me she notice me" says Raghav completely forgetting her confession not to long ago. He looks at her one more time before leaving the room... He went back to his room and forces himself to sleep

Scene 2

The next day, Raghav woke up to see his mother putting food on the table. When she saw him awake she hugs him. "I'm so glad you're awake; it won't be long until you can come home." She says

"That's good because I have a lot of work to do at the office." He says surprising gauri

"You can't go to the office Raghav, you will have to rest." She says

"I will be fine mother, don't worry about it." He says she was about to argue with him some more when paki came in.

"I'm so glad your ok Raghav, you surprise me yesterday." She says

"It wasn't a major problem paki, stop worrying to much." He says

Gauri roll her eyes when she started talking, she prayed that her son would get his memories soon before paki manipulates him.

Elsewhere, kamla came to see kalpi, who was looking out the window. She knocked to get her attention, when she did she walks in "Ai?" she says

"Yes kalpi, I brought you your favorite food and some extra clothes." She says

"Thanks" she says quietly

"Paki told me what happened" she says

"I thought she was still mad at you?" she says

"She did at first, but she forgive me" she said smiling kalpi seeing her mother happy was a little bit sad.

"How can you do this to me Ai, you're my mother your suppose to have my back not paki." She says getting upset

"We are not gonna discuss this now kalpi" she says with authorities

"No Ai, I want the truth, I can't keep following your orders if you don't consider me your daughter." She says looking at her

"Kalpi you are my blood, I love you. Everything I do is for your own good." She says

"No its not, its all for paki" She says

Meanwhile, Raghav was being pampered by paki, I know I loves her, why else did i marry her. But she needs to give him space, after what happened yesterday she's been very clingy even in front of mother. He thought

They continued to talk with him until paki realize she forgot Dadi doctor's appointment. Quickly she kisses Raghav on the cheeks and said good bye to him then he looks at his mother who looks uncomfortable.

"Mother is something wrong?" he asks

"Yes Raghav, I will be honest I don't like paki." She says

"Why not mother, she's my wife and you gave your consent." He says

"You don't love her Raghav." She says

"Your wrong mother I love her a lot, I remember everything we did together. She saved me from the leeches, she saved me from the chandelier falling on me, and I saved her from getting hit by the car. That's why I am in the hospital." He says making gauri look at him. Wait Raghav didn't save paki from the car it was kalpi, why does Raghav thinks it was paki he saved. Did she put some stuff in his head?" she thought

"Ok Raghav, I understand. Calm down ok." She says I will have to figure out paki plans she's up to something she thought

"I have to go Raghav but I will come later on to see you." She says before leaving.

Raghav watches his mother leave, he thought it was weird that she was talking bad about paki, maybe she never approve of the marriage and I married her secretly he thought, no I wouldn't do that to mother, it has to be something else he thought.

Scene 3

"Kalpi that's not true. I love each of you equally" she says

"Don't lie to be Ai; I'm tired of always getting my hopes up only for you to destroy it at the end. When will you actually start acting like my mother?" she said not caring anymore

"KALPI! Enough, I'm tiered of you disrespecting me, why can't you be a good girl like paki." She says angry

"There we go again, it goes back to paki. She will always be in your heart; even if I die she will always be in your heart. You wouldn't care about me, because you have a rich daughter that can make you happy." She says while crying

Kamla upset slaps kalpi; surprising her "don't you dare talk that way about yourself; your life is too precious. You're too young you haven't accomplished our dream yet, how can you try and kill yourself. "She says

"So now I'm just a tool, for your own gain" she says looking at her mother

"No kalpi, that's not what I meant." She says

"Yes it is. You've hurt me more than paki has; I always wanted to be like you. But now, I don't, I would never abandon my child and let her carry the burden of living my dream. I would never pick her second. And I will always support her no matter what." She says

"I do all of that kalpi." She says

"Not for me but for paki. You don't know how much I hate you for that, but now I don't even see you as a mother. I consider you a stranger." She says before kamla slaps her again then starts crying

"I thought I raised you right, but today you have disappointed me." She says

"You're right, I'm always disappointing you." She says while standing up

"I can never get your love. This is exactly why the gods are punishing me, making me stay away from the man I love. This is exactly why my own mother let me drown when I was a kid. I am cursed, no one can love me. Everyone I love is either taken away from me or betrays me. I should just disappear" she says before running out the room kamla calling her name to stop.

She continue running not seeing where she was going, she didn't see Raghav coming out of his room standing in the hall way. She bumped into him and they both fell. Raghav open his eyes when he felt water on his face. He looks at the person he bumped into and realizes it was kalpi. He helped her up and took her to the garden, there they sat down.

"Are you ok?" he asks looking at her, when she didn't say anything he got worried.

"Please don't cry, it will make me feel bad." He says when she still didn't talk he decides to make a joke "Did you hear about the hungry clock? He says when she didn't reply he says "it went back four seconds." He says before laughing, when he looks at her she still wasn't laughing but instead crying, he tried again to make another joke " why did the picture goes to jail?" he says when he still got no response he says " because it was framed." He says while laughing so hard, he was so busy laughing that he fell of the bench.

When kalpi still didn't respond, he pretend to be in pain " aah! " he says getting kalpi attention, "my head , it hurts" he says making kalpi quickly get to his side worried " Raghav, are you ok?" she says when he didn't respond she says " let me get the doctor."

She was about to leave when Raghav started laughing. She looked confuse at first but then realize he tricked her. "I finally got you to speak to me." He says

"That wasn't funny Raghav, what if you were really hurt." She says

"That would never happen." He says to her

He got back on the bench and ask her what's wrong, she didn't reply at first but then she says "Ai, she's hurt me a lot. And today she's made me realize I don't want to be like her." She says making Raghav sighs

"Parents can be harsh sometimes kalpi, all we can do is try to get along with them. Sometimes we have to make them see some of the bad choices they make and help them correct them. If you don't have a good relation to your parents you will regret it later on when their gone, so will they." He says

"I respect Ai Raghav, but I don't know if I can sit still and make her control my life. All she ever done was make bad choices for me. I just don't think I can be like her." She says more tears coming from her eyes.

Raghav seeing her still crying wipes the tears from her eyes. He decided something, turning to kalpi he says "I have an idea, since I don't remember us being friends, let's start fresh. I can be someone you can talk to when you're sad." He says making her surprise

"Let's be friends" he says smiling, kalpi hesitate at first but then smiles too,

" ok, lets be friends" she says putting her hand out so he can shake on it, only for him to pull her in a hug, Shocking her, both of their hearts beating together, like they recognize each other. When they pulled away, kalpi was blushing while Raghav was feeling uncomfortable for some reason. Both of them were to busy in their own thought that they didn't see kamla by the door, watching the whole hug scene unfold in front of her. She didn't look to happy about it, matter fact she looked tense but that was soon turned to anger.
