Doesn't Devar saa indicate husband's younger brother?
Maithili calls Rudra devar saa and Paro Choti behen.
Then how come Paro suddenly became the wife of eldest son of the house when arguing with Mohini?

I am confused...😕😕😕

I was confused by it too.. Then thought may be it is one of the bloppers of CV's... We were shown that Samrat is the eldest of all...😕 So, no doubt there...

Hmmm..
Dilsher is the head of the family as per that his son Rudra'll be the heir and he'll be the one to do all the elder son's responsibilities something like this I think.

Maybe age wise samrat is the eldest of all the cousins but rudra is considered the eldest being the son of dilsher who is older than danveer and so Parvati becomes the eldest bahurani of that ranavat family. By status I mean and nt age wise? I don't know yaar 😕just guessing here.😃

hey, I am a silent reader here. I was about to ask that. Didn't Rudra touch Maithili's feet after they return from Mumbai ?
If she is Samrat's wife who is again younger to Rudra, why pair chuna ? Actually, Rudra should have been the eldest son following his parents were married earlier. Or am I missing something ?

Dilsher is the older brother so that implies his daughter-in-law gets to be the lady of the house especially since Mala's nariyal status is undefined. Samrat is older than Rudra, so she is Maithili's devarani.
It would have been more correct if she had said she is the bahu of the older brother rather than patni of the oldest son.

@bold- since Mohini was the older sister, her wedding would taken place shortly after Mala's. And to establish her place in the household, she would have conceived and borne Samrat quickly. Mala might have taken time to conceive resulting in her loving husband becoming abusive and hurtful probably due to people commenting on Danveer having a child of his own when Dilsher was without any.

She meant it this way, Rudra is son of eldest son of Ranawat family, so meant in that way she is eldest daughter in law. But age wise Samrat is older but he is son of younger brother.

May be you are right.
@ all : I think being Dilsher's daughter-in-law is the catch here. Rudra got that sword that passes on to generations because he is DIlsher's son. Samrat cannot have that despite of being the eldest son. By the logic, that haveli also belongs to Dilsher and his family, So, Paro techincally is the owner of that haveli and holds more rights than Mohini. Wow! Bechari Mohini
