Motive: Unhappy with her personal life

Suspects:

1.Pawan:

Motive: He was not happy with Jasmine's acting career.

2.Khalifaa

Motive: He was an underworld banda and may have wanted Jsmine to do something illegal

3.Mrs. Kocher

Motive: She was Jasmine's mother and wanted her daughter to adjust with a producer for money..... 😡 Jasmine had also blamed her mother for the acccident that had happened some 6 months back, due to which her face had burnt.

Characters:

1.Jasmine: An established actress. She signed a movie three days ago, to her death. But her fiance Pawan did not like it and so she suicided.

2. Pawan Deol: A plastic surgeon. Jasmine had an accident, while shooting for a film. He did a surgery for Jasmine 6 months back and have since been seeing each other. He and Jasmine were to be married soon. Pawan was not happy with her acting career, as his father was very old tradition type. So Jasmine had quit acting. When Pawan read that she ahd signed a new film recently he got angry. Eventhough she insisted that she was only trying to save someone.

3.Shika: A struggling actress. Best friend of Jasmine.

4.Khalifaa: An underworld man who helped Jasmine when she had issues with her mom. He considered her his daughter like. He used to hide cocaine in the house which she was staying in for nearly two years, which was his flat.

5.Ragvesh Malik: A writer. He was very well acquainted with Jasmine and had asked her to recommend him for her next film.

6.Mrs.Kocher: Jasmine's mother. She tortured her daughter to adjust with her dealings and tried to get her into wrong ways, but Jasmine didn't agree for it. Jasmine suspected her mom for the accident that happened in the sets some time ago, which burned her face.

7.Watchman: Watchman of the building in which Jasmine lived.

Killer: Shika

Cause Of Death: Drowned Jasmine into the bath tub.

Motive: Jasmine had decided to quit films for her fiance. But she heard her friend Shikha is doing a film with a producer whose intentions were bad. She wanted to save her friend from that producer so she herself decided to come back to acting.

This was not liked by her fiance as his family was orthodox. They had a tussle between them. To make Pawan agree and sympathise, Jasmine decided to stage a suicide with the help of her friend Ragvesh. So she wrote a suicide note and cut her wrist lightly.

That night Shikha came to confront Jasmine for stealing her chance, but saw her staging suicide so she decided to take the chance and killed her by forcing her into the water tub.

Jasmine, a top heroine, is in her apartment...She writes a suicide note, sticks it to the bathroom mirror, and slits her wrist......

At ss office...in Aryan's cabin...

Boxer: Come on chief... take ur seat...!

Shaina: Thanx Boxer, lekin main kaam yahan se bhi kar sakti hoon...(pointin out to the chair opposite aryan whr she used to sit...)

Boxer: Oh come on shaina...dont be shy...

Shaina: (Sitting down) Lekin sirf tab tak jab tak Aryan wapis nahi aa jata... And I hope thats really soon.....

Boxer: Dua to main bhi yahi karta hoon ki Aryan jaldi wapis aa jaye.... Bas ek hi baat... Woh tape kisne churayi??

Ved gets up, slams his laptop and leaves the room angrily....

Outside, Ajay and Shotgun see Shai in the Chief's chair... and I thought it was really sweet when Ajay blew her a kiss and saluted her...and Shai smiled! But Shotgun complains that Ved shud've been the Chief n not Shaina...

Neha answers a phone and is shocked...she tells Ajay thrs a new case and goes to tell Shai that Jasmine, the filmstar has committed suicide.....

At the crime scene....

They find Jasmine's body in the bathtub, with her wrist slit and the water full of blood...

Ajay reads out the suicide note...it's addressed to some Pawan...sayin that she cudnt live without him...and that even he failed to understand her.....

Shaina says that it looked more like a poetry than a suicide note... Ajay adds that generally...suicide notes are very haphazard but this one looked neat, as if it ws written after a lot of thinkin.....

Shotgun starts sayin about the lifestyles of the filmstars and abt how dramatic they are...with empty heads...

Shaina:(frustrated) Shut up shotgun...!!! Dont generalise... waise bhi tum Jasmine ko personally jaante nahi the, isiliye tum yeh nahi jaante ki uski zindagi mein kya ho raha tha, to yeh phisool ki judgement pass karna bandh karo.

Shotgun: Theek hai.Pehle case solve hone do,phir baat karte hai, Jasmine ki life ke baare mein....

Shaina: Fair enough! Kuch kaam kar le pehle...?

Boxer tells her that a yr ago, thr ws a fire on the sets of Jasmine's film and she got burnt.When she came bak after 6 mnths, she had fully recovered by plastic surgery and then she stopped doin films.

Shaina: Yeh buildin wale apne actress neighbour ki full information rakhte hai?

Boxer: Buildin walon ko us actress ki zindagi se kuch lena dena nahi hai madam.Yeh meri apni information hai.

Shaina smiles....

The house is completely ransacked except for the bathroom.

Ajay has Jasmines cellphone and Mr.Pawan calls.He answers and tells him abt Jasmines death and asks him to come to the office.

Ajay later tells Shaina that the safe is also open. It was empty except for some white powder in it.Ajay tastes it.

Ajay: (smilin like a two yr old) Haila!!!!

Shaina: Ajay?

Ajay: (smilin even wider) Cocaine....

They question the watchman who tells them that the previous night, there was a fight goin on at Jasmines place.Also the body was discovered by Shikha.

Shaina talks to her and finds out that she's a strugglin actress who was a good frnd of Jasmines,and she discovered the body when she went to call Jasmine for the gym.Also she tells that the fire on her sets a yr ago was supposedly done by her mom.

They shift the body and go to the office....

At the table....

Ved sits on the head chair and Shai stands to xpln the case....

Ajay: Ved Saab..Kursi comfortable hai na?

Shaina: (Tapping him on the shoulder) Ajay...!

Shaina explains how its so complicated as the house was completely ransacked and the crime scene, the bathroom was clean.The man who was fightin with her could ve been Pawan, but then why dint he destroy the suicide note that clearly pointed to him....

Shaina: Exactly! All this is confusin!

Ved: Shaina, mujhe lagta nahi hai yeh case itna confusin hai,jitna ki tum log ise bana rahe ho.Its a simple case of suicide.Waise bhi film industry mein kya ho raha hai sab jaante hai.Aise cases ko glorify karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai.

Shaina: What r u tryin to get at Ved Saab..? Its a matter of death...!!! Yahan koi kisi ko glorify nahi kar raha hai.

Ved: Koi apne Maa par ilzam lagata hai ki woh use maarna chahti hai? Us ladki ke apne Maa ke saath problems the, woh cocaine addict thi,use mental problem tha,she committed suicide. What more do u want???

Shaina: What more do I want??? Ved Saab I'll tell u that, to start with (she joins her hands) I request u to stop gettin personal.Aryan ke jaane ke baad SS ka Chief mujhe banaya gaya.Yeh maine khud orchestrate nahi kiya tha,upar se orders aaye the aur agar aapko is baat se itni hi problem hai to Aryan ke wapis aane tak aap chhutti le sakte hai.

Ved: (He gets up fuming) Kya kaha tumne?

Someone tells Shai that Pawan has come and she leaves to interrogate him.....

Pawan tells them that he was her plastic surgeon and after gettin surgery done from him, she considered him to be her god and was very grateful Ajay and Shai roll their eyes hearing this. Pawan and Jasmine started seein each other after that and were abt to get married, but pawans parents dint want him to marry someone from the glam industry. So Jasmine agreed to quit the industry.But 3 days ago, her film was announced. This annoyed Pawan and he fought with her the previous night. But he had no alibi to say that he had gone home after that.

Neha shows shaina a cover page story of jasmine in a magazine....

Neha: Kitni ajeeb baat hai na? Jyadatar log in filmstars ko envy karte hai. They look upto them. Unki tarah banna chahte hai. Lekin yeh log bilkul aam aadmi ke tarah hote hai. Depressed, sad lonely...all those things...!

Shaina: Neha lekin mujhe is ladki ke liye bura lag raha hai. I mean, ise lagta tha ki iski Maa ise maarna chahti hai. Plastic surgery karvati hai aur apne surgeon se pagalon ki tarah pyaar karne lagti hai. How fragile her mind must have been!

(I'm sure u will all agree with me that this makes ur heart writhe in pain when u think of Shaina:Kuljeet in the same way....how fragile her mind must've been!)

Neha tells her they found 4 sets of fingerprints at her house. One of them hers, others needed to be checked.

Ved and Shotgun enter angrily...

Ved: Shaina, mujhe abhi Shotgun ne bataya hai ki uske ghar mein kayi jagaho par cocaine mila hai...jaise, sofe ke beech, matresses ke neeche, vagaira vagaira... kya ab bhi yeh baat clear nahi hai, ki woh ladki cocaine addict thi?

Shai tells him that they will draw conclusions only after the autopsy....

Shai goes to the autopsy whr papaji tells her that time of death was 1 am and Jasmine was pushed at her shoulders. Just then Boxer enters and tells Shai he cudnt find out about who's flat it was.

Shaina: Boxer tumhe pata karna chahiye tha. Bhale tumhe iske liye administrator ke office ka darwaza kyon na todna padta.!

Boxer: (He looks at Shai as if she's jokin) Shaina...thats illegal!

Shaina: Mujhe information chahiye. Tum use kaise le aate ho, mujhe koi farak nahi padta. Just get me the informant.

Boxer: Lekin Shaina, Aryan bhi.......

Shaina: I am giving u the orders....!

Boxer looks at Papaji, who nods yes....

Boxer: Ur the boss!!!

Papaji tells Shai that the cause of Jasmine's death could not have been the cut on her wrist......

Shai tells Neha rather rudely to find out about the fingerprints. Leavin a stunned Neha!

They get Raghvesh for questionin, a man whos id sketch was made with the watchman's help, who saw him com to meet Jasmine the previous night. His fingerprints are taken. But he clearly does not speak the truth!

Ajay: Raghvesh...tereko pata hai main bhi writer hoon. Lekin main chehre par kahaniya likhta hoon. Abey sach sach bata nahi to tere chehre ka woh haal karoonga ki tu writing bhool jayega.

Neha comes in and says that his prints are all over the suicide note.

Shaina: To .... Aap sach batayenge ya aap chahte hai ki ajay aapka chehra redesign kare? Kyunki agar yeh shuru ho jaye to ise rokna bahut mushkil hota hai.

Ajay: Nahi Shaina. Aaj mujhe mat rokna.

Raghvesh confesses that he had given Jasmine the idea to stage a suicide and also dictated the note. They thought that if Pawan saw her that way, he would melt and they would be reunited. But he left to get Pawan and saw that he wasnt home. As he came back to chek on Jasmine, he found Pawan's car there. Thinkin all was well, he left.

Shaina asks him whos flat jasmine was livin in and he hesitates.

Ajay: Abey kyun footage kha raha hai yaar.? Yeh purani reel ki tarah atak kyun gaya tu?

He tells them that the flat belonged to an underworld guy Khalifa.

Neha tells Shai that another set of prints found was Pawan's, may be old and the last one was of an underworld banda, Khalifa.

Khalifa is gotten for interrogation.

He tells them he met Jasmine when her Mom was forcing her to sleep with a producer for work. She broke all ties with her Mom and came to Khalifa for help, who solved the prob with the producer his way and got her a flat to stay in. She had then come to him few months ago and said she dint wanna work in films anymore. He was fine, but went to check on the flat when he saw Jasmine staging the suicide. He tried to stop her but he asked her to go and he angrily locked her in the bathroom and left. He also tells them he thought that the fire on her sets was indeed set by her Mom.

Jasmines Mom bein suspect due to this is called.

Shaina: Mrs. Kochar. I'm really sorry....

Mrs.Kochar: Ab yeh sorry worry kya hai? Use to wahi mila jo woh deserve karti thi.

Shaina: What? Kis tarah ki Maa hai aap? Ab pata chala ki Jasmine ne aapse rishta kyun tod diya tha. Aap jaisi maa ke sath to kisi ko nahi rehna chahiye. Aap jaisi aurato ko to society mein hi nahi rehna chahiye. Jo khud apni hi beti se sauda karvati hai.....!!! Kal raat kaha thi aap?

Mrs.Kochar: Kal raat main hospital mein thi. Saari raat. Meri maa waha beemar hai. Itni surprised look dene ki koi jaroorat nahi hai. Hum tum aajkal ki ladkiyon ki tarah nahi hain, jo apne Maa Baap ke mooh par laat maarke nikal jaati hai. Hum unmein se hai, jo apne Maa Baap ka khayal rakhte hai.

Shaina: (She gets up, ragin with anger) U filthy..........

Boxer an Neha take her away as she yells abusin the lady......

Shotgun tells Shai that he had gotten the mat of Jasmines bathroom for analysis and it contained her blood drops.

Shaina: That means usne wrist mat par kaati.

Shotgun: Suicide case hi hai na? Phir usne wrist mat par kaati ho ya tub mein, kya farak padta hai?

Shaina: Bathroom mat par khoon hai, bathroom tub mein khoon hai, to phir bathroom floor par khoon kyun nahi hai? Is analysis ke baad tumhe (i donno the name of the test...but its the liquid they spray and find blood in the blue colour...does ne1 know wht it is actually called..?) test karva lena chahiye tha, But obviously, u r way too busy judgin other ppls character!

Shotgun does the test and sees that there was indeed blood on the bathroom floor. That means someone had altered the crime scene. But who?

Papaji tells Shaina that the real cause of death was drowning as the blood mixed water in the tub came from Jasmine's lungs. They're all stunned to hear this as its all the more reason for a murder and not suicide.

Ajay finds out that Khalifa was a cocaine supplier and the type os cocaine they got in Jasmine's house, were the type Khalifaa supplies. Shaina asks Boxer to speak to the producers. All their answers pointed towards Khalifa.

Khalifa admits to supplyin drugs and keepin them in Jasmine's house.

Jasmine had left films for good but few days ago, a producer called her and her frnd Shikha was present at that time. Tthe producer was excited to see Shikha and wanted to star her in his movie. But Jasmine knew his intentions were far from noble and that he only wanted to sleep with her. She could not explain this to Shikha, who was too excited abt the movie to listen. So she decided the best way to save her was to do the film herself. Khalifa tried tellin her that she shudnt worry about others. But that was Jasmine's only fault, she cared too much 4 ppl, be it her mom, her doctor, or her frnd Shikha and thats wht she did. The producer was elated at Jasmine's comebak after a yr and he went ahead and announced it to the press three days ago.

Thts when Shai and the others figure out that the Shikha had the strongest motive to kill Jasmine.

Ajay finds a burnt towel piece with blood in shikha's house, and brings her to office.

Shikha confesses that she dint really want to kill Jasmine. She went to fight with her for snatchin her first big film and saw her stagin suicide. In the heat of the moment, she pushed her in the tub and drowned her for ruinin her career. Then cleaned the bathroom floor.

Shaina: Ek film ke liye, tumne uska khoon kiya? WHAT A WASTE!!!

(i completely agree with her on that one....it stuns me how ashe could have so wastefully killed someone and could be so cool abt it...it was a waste!)

Shotgun: Congratulations Shaina.U were rite!

Shaina: Isme celebrate karnewali koi baat nahi hai Shotgun. Its a matter of death!

The episode ends as they discuss why this had to happen to Jasmine, who only cared for others.

Personally, I strongly believe that "Good things happen to good ppl". But this episode made me look bak at Kuljeet and other sufferers, a zillion times and think.... "Why....? Why then do bad things happen to good ppl.....?"

Ooof……….. Aage, peeche, baajoo me kaheen paani hai kya? Nahi to laake rakh lena….. Itni mirchi thi episode me aur kiski wajah se………………..

Unbelievable nai….. Vo au raise me soch bhi nahi sakthi……. But I guess she was angry, confused, sad, upar se case ka pressure, Ved Saab ka behaviour,……. Aur pata nahi kitne tensions the…….

She was fast and ordering around too much……. Everyone right from Neha, Boxer, Papaji were surprised at her behaviour……
