Romi cheated his teachers, bribed them, tried to break up Mihir and Mihika, sent those Mns to spoil things for them, got into a compromising situation with the minister's daughter, had an intention of seducing Mihika when he took her to lunch.Raman used to associate Ruhi with his broken marriage and spoilt life.Even when she needed blood he could not give it bec he felt that it might prove Ashok's rant that he is not the father and when Adi was in trouble he has succumbed to Shagun and let her put him on oath not to to tell Ishita. Why blame Shagun. Shagun is what she is..Manifest in Romi who has spent his hitherto youth sowing wild oats, in Raman Bhala who under that powerful suave image has very little moral courage to fight for his daughter's DNA or save his son from becoming a boarder line criminal and Adi thinks he can get away with anything are common traits . Its the Bhalla genes which are speaking .When Mr Iyer went on Anshan and forced Ishita to say yes to Raman he did not realise that he is giving his angel like daughter to a man who is really very ordinary. Well she married for Ruhi's sake .And this poor girl has fallen for this man whose feet are made of clay . And Raman's charm has dragged us viewers also into this mire to want that Raman and Ishita love each other. But I have managed to climb out of that mire and would like to tell the creatives that they cannot show Raman in this light all the time. The creatives have put Raman's character portrayal on a very low rung to make Ishita shine.Does Ishita have no human weaknesses. I am not prepared to believe that.

Honestly saying..in all shows heroines are shown as mahaan and crying etc. In YHM we at least saw Ishita not being mahaan in this accident track at least and not crying unnecessarily. She cries when her patience level is crossed. That's a good change for Hindi shows.
But, really the way Raman makes mistakes for his dear ones, Ishita doesn't. Considering Ishu character she won't even do such grave mistakes like him. But, sometimes she can be shown to do some trivial mistakes at least.
What I think is when her past will be brought we can see her doing wrong things at least in her past. At least that can make us understand why she is this sensible and perfect.

Nice post. 👏
On the last point, I feel, on the contrary CVs have also tried to maintain Ishita in character too.
While she maybe shown as overly forgiving, which is her innate nature, she is not the typical hindi serial MAHAAN kinds.
She also fights for what is right.
Like she did not spare Romi just coz he was her devar. She decided to fight tooth and nail against Raman for Mihir and Mihika...
Even the accident case she did not shy away from standing against Raman.
If we really look at it, Iyers are shown are fairly nice people and I guess Ishita gets her values from them.
Raman is not wrong in his own self, he was a different person a very loving, rather henpecked husband. He has been embittered by unfair and unfortunate experiences in life. And this reflects in his demeanour. Deep within I think there is that old Raman hidden which will gradually surface.
I have often felt hurt on his rude outbursts at Ishita. But there is also a lesson to learn from how Ishita handles them. It takes a lot of maturity to find the right and good in all these outbursts and ignore what is irrelevant.
Just sharing my pov.
