If this confrontation was a precursor to future conversations between these two .. then it is an excellent start, each man standing his ground😊 As you pointed out Nikumbh's calm and collected expressions dropped for a second when his father was mentioned but he quickly regained it back

I did not expect Yamini to react otherwise. She is a girl who heart of hearts knows that she is living her father's dream but willingly accepts it because of her unshakable trust in him.. part of the story is Yamini coming into her own slowly but surely and I am liking the way the morphing is being unfurled onscreen.

No one loves Raghu in this forum...my contempt of him is still mild compared to what others say about him here😆

I do understand that he is overprotective of his daughter but he loses me when he starts trying to shove his daughter's stardom down other ppl's throats...that is very petty and cheap behavior in my opinion...but yes the writing is good otherwise in that they show both the grey and not so grey shades to him such as his friendship with Akhlaque showed his softer side yesterday...

Raghavendra is basically the typical narrow minded Indian father in many ways...very uncouth in his behavior in many ways too.

But yes I did like how the two men held their own in that standoff...it is indicative of the times to come as they will inevitably clash over Yamini...for Raghu, Yamini has become a thing to control...he loves his daughter in his own way but CONTROL is more important to him than anything else and Nikumb is threatening his absolute control over his daughter...if it was any random stranger who had helped Yamini, Raghu would probably treat him better...but he is noticing the closeness b/w NY and that will only increase his prejudice.

Yes, Yamini is naive in many ways when it comes to her father since she has spent pretty much her entire life walking the path he laid out for her...the problems start now as the Yamini long buried inside her...the Yamini yearning to fly and follow her own dreams starts pushing back at Raghu's control over her.

Amazingly written.

Shifting this show to the 7 p.m. slot has actually harmed me - can't watch the episodes on a daily basis and have to wait for weekends.

And that's why you deserve a hearty thank you - for keeping me up dated about these beautiful scenes, rich with emotions, stories and immense character strengths and sensitivities.

Looking forward to Saturday 😊

And today, they didn't show the re-runs. Pretty sad.

This is one show I like on Life OK, sand they treat it pretty pathetically.
