Well Yeh Hai Mohabbatein happens at 1:30 Pm in Canada and then its 11:00 in India and at that time my parents are working basically on weekdays so then I have no problem because I'm all alone and now that I have summer break its more awesome...!! But on Saturday the time when Yeh Hai Mohabbatein comes on TV at that time usually my mom comes and says she wants to watch TV and I'm like why when Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starts? And when I don't give her the remote she just sits and watches and I'm like really you have to watch? I feel so embarrassed when my mom watches its like so this is what my daughter watches when I'm not home?
But I just basically ignore her...because when Ishra is on TV I forget anything mostly everything...!!😛

Well obviously, i have faced so many embarrassing situations between me (and my sisters) and my parents.. Especially with western serials where my dad always appears when theres the passionate kiss scene or the 'sex' scene.. OH GOD !! This is awful !!! But then discretely we made excuses (am going to washroom, or ive got homework or someone is calling me) and we slipped away from the living room..
As for YHM, hopefully, it is aired at 1am in my country.. so i dont have any fear that my dad (coz i dont feel awkward to watch bold scenes with mama) will appear at any moment.. Sooo, i watch my YHM peacefully with my sister..
But one day, it was 7.30pm and i was watching the rebroadcast of a YHM episode : it was the episode where there was that funny bathroom scene where Raman was begging for water, and ishita brought it for him. He slipped and fell down when he realised that it was ishita in front of him.. GUESS WHAT !! Dad appears that moment ! I was OMG !!

it's so fun reading your stories!
i watch YHM alone but if my parents ever catch me watching a hindi show they'll say it's garbage (to make fun of me) or just watch it with me and ask what it's about.

If there is romantic scenes we skip channel and come back after but then i go online to watch it.

even when i'm by myself, some romantic scenes i like, some make me uncomfortable. so i have to pause and watch it little bit by tiny bits.
