The trio is likely to star in Rohit Shetty's next comedy.

In an interview to Mirror (July 16), writer-duo Sajid-Farhad had revealed that they've written a script for Rohit Shetty, which will be an ode to the heroism of the 80s, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in a Bachchan-esque avatar. They had also said that the film will feature two younger actors.

Mirror has now learnt that Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan could be roped in to play SRK's siblings in the comic caper. Revealed a source close to the development, "It's an outand-out comedy with a strong emotional core- classic Rohit Shetty territory. To play SRK's chhote bhais, the makers have zeroed in on Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor."

However, the spokesperson of Shah Rukh's production house was non-committal on the subject, saying, "We are going to make a film with Rohit Shetty in the near future. Currently, we are working on the story. Nothing else has been finalised so far."

However our source insisted that a grand announcement will be made in the coming months. As of now, Shetty is racing against time to finish the edit of Singham Returns, which opens on August 15. The said film will only roll early next year.
