How many of you good peeps find it irresponsible and disgusting of Aliya's Dim Wit behaviour ?
These are the times when I found her total dim wit.
1) Bhopal - Even when she finds Zain is not Zeeshan, she continues to allow her cousin to flirt with her. Not only that..she even dances with him on Sangeet occassion.
2) Mumbai-Zubair - Even when she gets it that her husband had not liked her proximity to Zubair or her Maami has suspected her of affair with cousin, yet she keeps going on cozily with her cousin.
Why Aliya why?
Because she is Allah ki bandi and Allah will take care of her.
Like the first day she was irresponsible to go to Dargah and not return on time for her Match seeking/Seeing session with Zeeshan party.
For her Maamu was important than her marriage. But really is that the case ?
3) Mumbai - Jewellery selling. Apni Baap ki Kamai thee jo khairaat mein baantne chali?!! Aliya pawned her Maamu's mother's jewels to save a gambler Fahad and his gambling habit. What if she had failed and those jewels were always lost ? Who is owing allegiance to ? Her Maamu or her Allah or What was she doing or thinking ?
4) Mumbai - Leaving Zain at Suraiya's behest. Like she married for her parents, like she kept marriage for Maamu, when did suddenly Suraiya became so important and she goes and asks Zain if he wants her to leave? In all of this what happens to her vows or promise to her parents and her Maamu? Did she do that for Allah?
Why Aliya why?
Everytime you make a mistake, Zain ends up saving your ass.
Whether your fiasco of marriage
or your Zubair -affair chakkar
or your Jewellery pawning
or your leaving house
The only time that Zain did not save her was on the Walima day. I guess at that time, he had it enough with Aliya in his life that getting caught by Police was bit too much to handle.
Then after Walima, pretty much Zain started seeing her dim-wittedness and somehow always kept around her like
- saving her when she falls down the ladder doing the herogiri of fixing the cable
(wardrobe malfunction - he is directly responsible and after Shabaana's call, he actually took whole responsibility of saving her)
- saving her in the jewellery pawning fiasco
- saving her in the Suraiya insulting her parents fiasco when she actually sided with Suraiya rather than trying to understand first why her sister did that. What kind of sister she is? Which sister does like that?
-saving her from being exposed as doing something so dumb as to leave the house. Actually even Fahad saved her.

Point is why is Aliya like this ?
Well, its flawed story writing. The writers work through contrasts.
Make Aliya unreasonable and Zain will save her. - Audience gets cheap thrills by watching romantic scenes.
Then suddenly grow Aliya's brains and make Zain dumb - Audience will adore the love story happening, when Zain will start adoring Aliya
Then make her lose wit again so that Zain can save her a AGAIN.
Question though this time is...does Aliya need saving ?
Yes.
You ask me why?
because people keep interfering between the two. So someone needs to tell the world...just keep off us.
I am sure Zain will go mad and give censuring lecture to Aliya, like everytime he gives her one when she does wrong things
- be it Jewellery
- be it leaving house
- be it Ayat exposing
- be it Zubair tamasha
- and to some extent Barkat dealing as well
So Aliya will hear again from Zain.
They might be just proving to themselves and all around them, no one can tear them apart except for themselves through their own wrong doing.
I guess Aliya will accept her mistake.
Till date, not even once Aliya accepted by herself that what she was wrong. This is really interesting !!! Like Ruling Politicians never make any mistake.
