A crazed fan has been harassing Kangana Ranaut over the phone; the actress plans to file a police complaint if he persists

Admirers can sometimes be a royal pain. And who better than Kangana Ranaut to talk about this, as she has been facing constant harassment from an overseas fan. A few weeks ago, Kangana was in the USA for a stage performance when one of her friends introduced her to a man.

The man asked Kangana for her number, but when she hesitated her friend passed along the information without letting her know.

"Kangana is very secretive about her phone number. She never thought this admirer would misuse it as her friend had introduced them. But she was wrong," says a friend of the actress.

A step further

As soon as she reached Mumbai, the man in question started calling her and sending her SMSes. "Initially, the conversation was typical of one between a star and a fan, but later the man started harassing her with SMSes. She started avoiding his calls but he kept calling from different numbers," adds the friend.

Not just that, the man went a step further and even proposed marriage. "This surprised Kangana. Initially she laughed it off, but later it became serious."

The fan didn't stop calling despite Kangana politely asking him to do so. "He insisted that he is a millionaire and would allow her to continue working even after marriage. Now, Kangana is thinking about filing a police complaint if the man does not behave himself," says the friend.

Meanwhile, Kangana is busy with her films and is trying her best to sort this out without legal hassles. When we tried to get her response on the matter, she refused to comment.

When probed, the actress admitted that she has been getting such calls from a fan in USA. She says, "It's my friend's fault. She shouldn't have given my number to him."

OoO that sucks ... her friend shoulda known better than to give out her number to random fans! I'd be mad at the friend too

and immature one too there was another article of her few days ago where she stayed in hotel and made some phone calls and her crew ended up paying for her, thats the height of immaturity, she doesnt sound mature at all but her work in movies are good she looks way mature

kangs always ends up from one galaat femi into another. but it's kinda creepy if you're stalked like that..😕 hopefully that silly guy will stop badgering kangs now that she's filed a police report.
