Ashlok fans, were over the moon as there were scenes in the beginning, in the middle and in the end. What more could we fans ask for????? They were given their due after a looonnng time and we fans were parched for just such a day. The director sure assuaged our thirst for Ashlok scenes today.👏
That said, the episode began where we left off yesterday and Aastha is still deep in thought about JOSID, how to tell Sid to stop coming and should she tell Shlok????Weighty issues and decisions to be made which would shake the very foundations of AM, like the calm before the storm. Shlok senses that there is a bee in biwi's bonnet and asks her ???????
Aastha brushes it aside and then the first HUG of the day and he tries to lighten her mood and says let us go shopping and get a gift for pari for the naming ceremony.

When they are on their way out, Sojal is reading one of her magazines and stops them to question. Invites herself over and is gleeful at the thought of not having to pay for her purchases and hoping to palm off the bills onto Shlok. The word Jewelry sounds magical to her ears and she is off like a shot. Seems like Sojal and AAstha had a great time shopping and Shlok, bechara carting them and the bags around. Any husband would hate shopping(mine does and whenever he goes, he is in and out in 20 mts) and that too one like a dedicated shopper i.e. Sojal. Squiring the two women in the rain has given Shlok a headache, an appetite to Sojal who just bulldozes her way into the nearest hotel for chai paani. It is her dream come true and she wants to milk every second of the day that has turned out to be good for her. Already Shlok's planned outing with dear wifey was shot in the foot by Sojal and now eating too, god when will this day end?????
The very same hotel is also host to Varad and Mansi who are having a date there or a work cum date thingy. Sojal's eagle eyes do not miss the presence of her dear husband and she asks him what he was doing there. On hearing this, Mansi seated behind Sojal (a symbolism perhaps, one waiting behind to take her place going forward) comes up and introduces herself to Sojal. Shlok is looking on in bemusement at Mansi, Varad is so tense that he would have snapped like a twig if things had gotten any further and Aastha's thinking cap is on. Mansi does the pretty speech and leaves after shaking hands on the DEAL, WHAT DEAL, THE DEAL TO MAKE SOJAL LOOK LIKE A CUCKOLD. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT SHE DID. 😡
THIS WOMAN DEFINITELY HAS AN AGENDA REGARDING VARAD AND FOR ALL HER NAYS ABOUT MARRIAGE, WANTS VARAD TO BE EXCLUSIVELY HERS. SHE LIKES PLAYING WITH FIRE AND THAT WAS A RISK THAT SHE TOOK. LET US SEE IF VARAD REPRIMANDS HER.
Sojal is so happy to see Varad, that she cajoles him to join them for a meal. That was something Iwould have loved to see, the 2 brothers with their wives bonding, talking,sharing a meal and having fun generally. Sadly it was ruthlessly chopped off and I was like huhuuuhuuh.. ...😭.
Jyoti is left off to fend the baby by herself and is in the kitchen heating up some oil for the baby's massage. Anjali comes in and tries to pass on some sense and Sita is left looking bewildered at the both of them as both refuse to talk to each other. So much for mother daughter bonding eh...But she does what her ayi says and all the talk is only bluster and wind. I must say that Jyoti had a remarkable recovery and is back on her feet after the delivery. I remember myself, i was in a daze and felt like a truck had hit me. Jyoti is a strong gal...👏
The baby is crying probably due to an upset tummy and Jyoti is in a dither, trying to calm her down. The cries awaken the women (SOJAL WAS IN LALA LAND AFTER HER DREAM OUTING AND DINNER WITH VARAD)who are attuned to the sounds and especially Anjali whose motherly instincts are on full alert. Aastha too wakes up and decides to go down and see, who should she bump into but her sasubai, who comes up with a remedy to settle the crying baby. AAstha goes off to bring the baby and tells Jyoti to take rest. Anjali's remedy works its magic and the baby is soothed and she reminiscences about Jyoti when she was a baby and says her daughter looks just like her at that age. I just loved Aastha for what she did next, told her ayi to hold pari and cuddle her. 🤗
This was the BEST SCENE OF THE DAY. GEETANJALI WAS SO AWESOME HERE, SHE EXPRESSED HER ELATION, DELIGHT, AWE AND CONTENTEDNESS . WAH WAH WAH TAALIYAN... SHE ALSO HUGGED HER BAHU AASTHA OR INDICATED IT, WHO DID THIS FOR HER AND MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR HER TO SEE PARI AND THE BLISS THAT SHE GOT. BOTH SHRENU AND GEETANJALI WERE SO BEAUTIFUL AND THE MOMENT WAS REALLY MOVING. 👏 👏 👏
Shlok misses his toofan mail's presence in bed and goes looking for her. Anjali sure had a sixth sense protecting her and she moved away after handing the baby to Aastha, just in time. Now the AAAWWW MOMENT, SHLOK IS JUST BLOWN AWAY BY THE SIGHT OF HIS DEAR WIFE CUDDLING THE BABY AND HE DRAWS NEAR. HE TELLS HER THAT SHE WOULD MAKE A WONDERFUL MOTHER AND GAZES AT HER WITH LOVE AND PASSION IN HIS EYES. IF NOT FOR PARI'S PRESENCE, HE WOULD HAVE TUMBLED HER TO THE FLOOR THEN AND THERE AND HAD HIS WICKED WAY WITH HER. HE WANTS TO HOLD PARI TOO AND AASTHA LOOKS AT HIM AND FEELS HE WOULD MAKE A WONDERFUL DAD AND SHE TOO GIVES HIM A LOOK FULL OF LOVE AND WONDER. SHRENU AND AVINASH WERE SIMPLY SUPERB HERE. TAALIYAN. ⭐️
Given the way the two were gazing at each other and the love that flowed between them on seeing each other holding the baby, if ever there is a pregnancy track of Ashlok, this is THE NIGHT THEIR CHILD WAS CONCEIVED. A girl can surely dream right???????
Preparations for the naming ceremony are on in full swing. Anjali feeling left out at the same time keeping an eagle eye on all the arrangements, goes to dress up for the joyous occasion. Aastha tries again to tell Jyoti about how good her mother is but Jyoti is in no mood to listen about her ayi and makes it very clear that she will not entertain talk about her ayi.
AAAWWW SCENE next. I had to pinch myself as there was Ashlok all thorough the episode. Both are dressed in blue and looking absolutely GORGEOUS WHICH IS ALSO SHLOK'S NAME OF THE DAY FOR WIFEY DEAR. Aastha is trying to keep jasmine flowers and pricks her finger with the pin and Pathidev soothes and kisses the finger. AAWWW. THEN HE DOES THE HONORS HIMSELF AND GIVES A LOOK THAT IS HEATED, CHARGED AND BURNING WITH NEED. Wifey is so overcome by this that she capitulates and submits to her dear akdu by hugging him. Shlok looked triumphant, complacent and pleased that he had wifey where he wanted her to be, IN HIS ARMS ENVELOPED BY HIS LOVE. 🤗
This veritable outpouring of Ashlok romance has made me decidedly suspicious of the upcoming episodes. Is this the last of the happy Ashlok before disaster strikes them or MU crops up as Abhay makes his entry tomorrow. NA is going to root for Abhay certainly. Their peace and love shattered by the revelations of JOSID n Varad affair. What will shlok do on Abhay's pronouncement is the million dollar question?????? Aastha's appeasement and shedding of her ego for the sake of her love is noteworthy, at the same time she should not continue to lie and withhold info from Shlok. Will he be able to forgive her so quickly this time around??????
Precap - Abhay announces his presence at the naming ceremony and stakes his claim on his waaris. Can't wait to see Shlok give him the boot and a kick on his behind.😆
