I don't think Astitva was meant to be a comedy in the first place,so we cannot expect anything funny there except for a few humor added here and there! 😊

And as far as Sia's look,i think there has been numerous discussion on this..and i hope it stops here. 😊

well, we all know its not a commedy serial but at the same time we didnt expect to see simran always crying. Her character was initally made very strong and capable of handling herself, hospial and her own family. but now she is just another crying character in the serial & nothing more than that

AGREED. This is an insult to our sensibilities. What a bunch of nonsense. Who's life is like this in the real world. Completely pathetic. We watch television and movies to escape into a more pleasant world not to get even more depressed and this show only seems to focus on a series of tragedies, viscious and horrible people....
Can we have some 'khushi'....we've had enough 'ghum'!!!!

I feel we should watch some sensible serials, like the ones shown on starone and there are some gud comidies too. The way the director/writers are dragging the story is pathetic!!!!!. Forget looks and crying.....I guess its the director n writer who are to be blamed. They should hv ended the serial by now with some dignity n grace. What a shame, what crap they r showing n we are still watching...............................The best is yet too come, with Astha dying n Simran blind.....lol

My suggestion watch The Great Indian Comedy Show on star one!!!!

Agreed, desiatheart & Rachel, that we definetely need some freshness in the storyline, instead of Simran just crying etc! πŸ˜›
But then again, unfortunately, every Hindi Movie or Soap revolves lots around emotions, and somehow, sadness and tragedies are major ingredients in most stories, unless its a comedy, and even then sometimes, comedies are not spared of such things ie:Kareena Kareena is one such supposedly to be comedy, and if we watch it now,its become a total mess of conflicting emotions! And if u guys watch the movie:Hulchul, which is suppose to be a comedy, even there, the story was not spared.I guess that makes our Hindi Movies/Soaps different. πŸ˜›

So i guess,at the end of the day,its upto us viewers, whether we want to watch it and 'spoil'our moods,or we can choose to stop watching it completely and go for something that suits us better, just like what Nehatyagi1 says.

As far as Astitva's concern,Ajai Sinha doesn't intend to stop the rona-dhona for a long time to come as we all know!!! πŸ˜†

Mumtaz, I'm agreed with you for the first two paragraphs but not for the third one. Reason is, I cannot switch to other channel when Astitva being aired because we loved it somuch in the past and that time is kinda dedicated for astitva only. Well atleast for me, TV serials wont change my mood and doesn't effect my personal life but the bad thing is we used to enjoy watching this serial and we cannot see this serial becoming such a disaster.
I guess everyone coming to this forum is so affectionate to Astitva serial and they feeling sad the way this serial is progressing.
But I can't understand why Ajay sinha is not thinking on these lines.

Whats your say?

Absoloutely Rachel,i agree with u completely! And as far as what i said about switching channels,i was referring to what Nehatyagi1 was saying, and i am the last person to believe in relating to soaps to real life and getting all emotional about it and letting it affect my life,as at the end of the day,as i have mentioned many times before, they get a fat paycheck,go home, wash their make-up and go to sleep, and we get high blood pressure!!!Not worth it!! πŸ˜†

Yes,like i had mentioned,we definetely need some form of freshness in the storyline,as its getting very stale with the same Kiran/Aastha/Abhi/Simran dilemma etc!And unfortunately for us Astitvans..we can't even stop watching it,as much as we detest it! πŸ˜›
But i think as far Ajai Sinha is concerned,he is in this belief that the ratings of this soap has remained the way it is due to all these tamashas, and at the same time,i think he has also run out of ideas, but needs to keep it running(hey, its a money spinner for him anyway, rite? πŸ˜› )
so he adds and drags, and kill and slay the whole character of Dr.Simran and the whole focus as well as the essence of Astitva is lost, unfortunately! 🀒
No Rach,Ajai Sinha will never think on these lines,as taht wud make him sensible, and he gets sensible,he wud lose money!!! πŸ˜† πŸ˜†
