Randhir stood up from his seat as Parth slipped ring into Sanyukta's finger, his world had shattered in front of him. He looked at them for the last time before leaving to go back when he found Parth hugging Sanyukta and their eyes met for a moment...happy smiling Sanyukta, the smile, he always wanted on her face, when she was with him, her twinkling eyes at the touch of Parth that he wanted when he touched her...

No, maybe she is not meant for me, She is so happy at parth's acceptance... and if I really love her, I should move out of her life... I love her but she is happy with someone else...even if I get her forcefully, she will never be with me truly...

He looked at her and messaged to her...

"Congratulation Sayukta...as promised, I am out of your life from this moment...have happy life...and good luck for your future"

Reading a smile appeared on sanyu's face and she looked at the seat were e was sitting but he had left already.

Really a man of his words...she muttered typing the reply

What? How can he leave like this that too before our marriage... yoyo stop him anyhow...he should be here for wedding...Kaustuki was talking to yoyo at phone early morning as yoyo called her to inform that Randhir had decided to leave today.

I am trying my best Kaustu, but he is not ready to listen...yoyo replied...

But what the reason yoyo? You are his bestie, you must be knowing...

Yoyo just kept quiet..he knew the reason but could not tell Kaustu as he was bound by Randhir, who had litterly cried last night telling him everything...

I am trying yaar but he is not listening to me...yoyo spoke helplessly...

Ok, I am coming then...saying Kaustuki cut the call as it was Sunday so Sanyu was also at home...

Sanyu, come with me...Kaustuki held her hand a she came out of washroom not knowing what had happened till now...

But what' s the matter Kaustu? Sanyukta spoke picking up car keys...

Ranhdir is leaving...all Kaustuki said locking the gate...

What? Sanyukta was surprised... Actually not so surprised but impressed...really he keeps his promises...

Yes, but he can't leave before marriage, pat nahi suddenly kya huya, he was here for one month, then why is he leaving so early just in one week...Kaustuki was speaking all the way to yoyo's apartment...

As they reached there, Randhir was standing near gate with his luggage...just about to leave...

Kaustuki came there and shouted on Randhir... What do you think Randhir, apni marji se kabhi bhi aoge aur chale jaooge? You are our bestie, you must be here for wedding...

I want to be Kaustu, but...its urgent...Ranhdir lowered his eyes just taking a glance at Sanyukta for the last time before leaving...who was looking away...

No ...you can't leave till wedding that's final, Kaustu t snatched his tickets from his hand...

No Kaustu...its not at all possible...Randhir replied with teary eyes...

Now both yoyo and Kaustuki were shouting at Randhir to stay but he was standing there with lowered face determined to leave...

Ok...finally Kaustuki shouted throwing his tickets on his face...do whatever you want to...leave your bestie alone on his most awaited moment as well as me who considered you as very good friend in just one week...and Kaustu ran to the bedroom while yoyo followed her...

Randhir looked at them with teary eyes and picked his luggage to go from there...suddenly Sanyukta spoke... Stay...

What? Randhir looked at her in surprise...

Yes...stay... stay here for few more days...she looked at his face...

Not for me...but for your besties... yoyo considers you as brother and Kaustuki too loves you a lot... stay till their wedding...she spoke softly...

But I promised...he whispered...

You promised to stay away from me...keep that promise...but my promise was never meant to keep you away from your besties' happiness...if you promised me, that doesn't mean, you will not be in India or meet yoyo and Kaustu because i am in their life...she whispered... Please stay for them...

Randhir thought for a moment and a smile appeared on his face...thanks... and don't worry ...even being here, I will keep my promise...from now onwards for next three weeks, you will not notice even my presence... saying he dropped his luggage at the door and moved towards the bedroom.

Where Kaustuki and yoyo were really upset...

Ok. ...what will I get in reward... if I stop... he smiled naughtily looking at both of them... And they were shocked...

Next few days passed like this only... yoyo and Randhir used to visit Sanyu and Kaustuki but Randhir just used to say hello to Sanyukta with a warm smile without any other words, he never even picked his eyes to look at her properly...he used to sit away from her at breakfast and dinner as it was yoyo's routine to have his meals there...

Somewhere in her heart, Sanyukta felt his sudden absence, somewhere in her heart, she wanted him to notice her, to look at her and atleast talk a bit to her...but she used to brush off all the feelings with the presence of Parth in her life...

She had been out with Parth twice but she could not move ahead in their relation...she was not sure, what was the reason, what was binding her now to accept Parth's advances when everything is fine between them...but after that night Parth never tried without her consent...and she was continuously trying herself to convince for Parth...

It was Friday morning and last working day of week ...when yoyo and Randhir too had reached for breakfast...

Sanyukta came there with red cheeks and red nose...

Are Sanyu, ye kya huya? Yoyo looked at her...cold again?

Han yaar,.same problem... severe cold with little fever...Sanyukta spoke sitting on chair near dining table...

Medicine li? Yoyo smiled...

Hum... li hai, just Kaustuki is bringing my kaada... That will affect only, you know...she tried to smile...

When Kaustuki came with a bowl of kaada for Sanyu...have it Sanyu, you will feel better...

You know what Randhir, Kaustuki looked at Randhir, whenever Sanyu catches cold, all her smelling senses are almost dead... Agar iske saamne fish bhi rakhdo na, she can't smell that even... Listening a smile appeared on Randhir's face and Sanyu was mesmerized by that smile which was missing from last five days at his face.

Ok guys, we wanna tell you both something yoyo smiled... I and Kaustu are leaving for Goa today for three days...for our pre wedding honeymoon...

Pre wedding honey moon? Both Sanyukta and Randhir smiled...

Haan...shadi ke baad to sabhi jaate hain honeymoon pe, we are going for pre wedding...yoyo winked at them...

Sanyu, actually yoyo decided just now... so you will manage na? Kaustuki looked at Sanyu...

Don't worry Kaustu... I will... aur wiase bhi kuch din bad to akele rehna hai mujhe...I will manage...and if I need something parth hai naa?

When doorbell rang and Parth was standing there...

He looked at Randhir and Randhir towards Parth...yoyo introduced both of them and they had hand shake with smile... Randhir knew Parth but Parth had not met Randhir he had just seen him at engagement...Randhir had a nice talk with Parth

Parth told Sanyukta...Sanyu, I am going to home for weekend...and I will talk to mom and dad about us...

Sanyukta gave a faded smile but was feeling quite awkward in presence of Randhir...as if something was itching her...

By the night Kaustuki and yoyo had reached Goa and Randhir was working on his laptop at home...when he received a call from Kaustuki...she was looking quite afraid...

Kaustu kay huya. Everything fine? Randhir asked...

No Randhir...i need help...Randhir could feel her tensed voice...

Han bolo...he tried to calm her.

Actually I received a call from our neighbors...there is gas leakage at our flat and Sanyu is not picking call...she must be busy somewhere...please go and tell her...as our neighbor has also left for weekend...

Koi aur neighbor? He asked her...

No, there are only two flats on floor...Kaustuki told him...

But she will know as she will enter...Randhir tried to calm her down himself worried and getting car keys to leave...

No Randhir she will not...we told you about her cold na? She will not smell that...Please hurry up...

Listening Randhir was shocked, he immediately ran towards their flat...as he reached there and found flat's gate was closed form inside, means Sanyukta had reached home...he could smell gas form outside even... he rang the bell but no one opened...

He rang it again and again... but no response...

He took a big sigh and finally broke the lock with a knock...as he entered inside and ran towards kitchen, was shocked to see...

Sanyukta was standing in the kitchen with earphones on her ear listening music and opening the knob of the gas burner...

Sanyukta...he shouted running towards the kitchen...but she could not listen...and lit the match stick...

And a big Booommm...
