I think the message is crystal clear that 80-90% of PKDH viewers pretty much strongly dislike this track. There are however a small minority of people have accepted this "Adisha" love story track, dont get me wrong here i have no issues with their acceptance of "Adisha" or Ayesha or this whole track as a whole. I have read other peoples views on this track and all their points seem fair up to an extent. In fact i just read this view : http://www.myeduniya.com/Entertainment/TvSerials/?revid=81500
The fact that 70-80% of people dislike the ongoing track...first of all if 70-80% of people DISLIKE something surely that should send alarm bells ringing shouldn't it? Doesn't 70-80% of a statistic hold no value anymore?
I mean if you want to approach this track logically it started off by Harish coincidentally meeting a humshakal of his possibly deceased daughter in law, who he initially thought was his beloved Butterfly, but of course he turned out to be wrong. So he made this ridiculously identical look-alike agree to come with him, to pretend to be "Dead" in front of his son so he could come back home and well quite frankly "get over it" i.e.Pankhuris death...Surely after 2 years a body cannot be in the same condition it was in? Any educated person will know the second a body dies, the temperature cools way down and it begins to decay. And the Diwans being the rich wealthy educated family they are, of course have educated their kids to become sagacious individuals, that too including Adi. So after Adi being educated in the worlds top educational institutes that too abroad, his father Harish expects him to identify an alive being as a dead one? We all know how mad Adi is for Pankhuri, so the second that dead body comes in front of him will he not hug it? Cry whilst holding it? I mean is Adi really that foolish enough to believe this? If you want to think logically there you have it. Thats LOGIC...🤓
I think the love story of Adi-Pankhuri hardly reached a dead end, if people believe this is so then clearly they dont understand that it was these same CVs who wrote this love track of Adi-Pankhuri who are writing this season 2 Adi-Ayesha track. Their job title is called a creative...? Does that not speak volumes within itself? It was the CVs job to explore the character of Pankhuri more, stop making her a weak character who cries all the time and becomes Ms.Detective Kumar the second a problem arises in the family. It was the CVs job to make Pankhuri a strong young independent woman, who by the way qualified as an architect? Whatever happened to that? There was so many possibilities to be explored and delved into. But if the CVS failed to recognise that and thought this approach would be a better idea well, it hasn't worked. 😕
And as far as the love story is concerned, there was more too it. Are you trying to tell me after 2 years of marriage every things all uninteresting and life should come to a halt? What about exploring the prospect of parenthood, or the struggle and pain of not being able to conceive. If you want talk about real life issues here, infertility is one issue, pregnancy itself is another, or Adi starting his own business. Pankhuri supporting him, Adi becoming independent from the Diwan Mansion? Pankhuri becoming a top business woman, or a world-renowned architect? Seeing woman go out and get top top jobs in the industry. There was dozens of opportunities to be explored.
My problem does not lie with Ayesha, it never did. My problem lies when it's Ayesha and Adi love track. I mean sure people will argue, oh but people lose their wives in real life and become widowers and get re-married and start a new life doesn't Adi deserve to start a new life? Sure fine why not, but Adi is marrying the humshakal of Pankhuri who by the way was intentionally for the sake of his feelings deceiving him for two months into believing that she's his Pankhuri, then she almost cost him his life by that fallacious car-accident. She lied to him by telling him her memories back and it took him again Adi a well educated young man from a wealthy family; two months to realise thats not his Pankhuri but someone else. And that too by a kiss?
I mean why drag it for two months? They express throughly on the fact that Adi is madly in love with Pankhuri but yet he failed to recognise that wasnt his wife but someone else? When clearly this Ayesha girl has an obvious birthmark on the side of her nose and one on her neck? Oh and lets not forget the tattoo? Pankhuri had a tattoo of Adis name on her back? I mean was that episode just a filler episode and clearly held no paramountcy in the love story of Adi-Pankhuri? Did CVs forget about that tattoo? I mean you dont even have to be well educated to notice someones physical features or blemishes that differ from someone of your own...eg) your wife maybe? I mean we can forgive these idiosyncrasies which flaw Adi? No one said he had to be perfect but i mean minute detail like that, really? Is that how CVs want their hero to be portrayed?
No one said the heroine or the hero had to be perfect, people say how Ayesha is more relatable than Pankhuri ever was. Because Pankhuri was a pure soul and was "too perfect" like the typical bahus on indian television. She was a culminating individual who was always the first one to save her family from problems. However whats the fun in having a character like Ayesha? A character which traits lie amongst pretty much most of us. Aren't indian tv serials supposed to give you a message? A deep meaningful acceptation to take away and delve on? Pankhuri was just that! The epitome of all that was pure and serene in a woman. Faults could have been presented within her, she didn't always have to be right! That lied with the CVs and this is how they chose to present her. Don't blame the character, or the actress! The writers are the ones at fault here if anyone, because it was their job to make a well rounded individual who had faults and idiosyncrasies where we could relate to.
I appreciate how Pankhuri transformed Adi into what he is today, but then comes the repeated circle of the same story being replayed. Lets re-wind 2 years. Adi married Pankhuri for the sake of "izzat" and society, her marriage with Shivam broke on her wedding day. Adi being a good "friend" stepped in and married her. Again using the tag of "Friendship" too this marriage and for the sake of "society". Now again, fast-forward 2 years and its like deja vu or something. Adi marries Ayesha for the sake of her "izzat", again he gives his marriage the tag of Friendship, he isn't in love with her...same as with Pankhuri...again this marriage was done for the sake of "society". Oh and lets not forget Avantika not accepting Pankhuri as her bahu, oh but wait theres more. When Paya married Adi didn't tell Avantika either and again same story here and again Avantika doesnt accept Ayesha. Then there was Sheila, who again has become how she was previously hating Adis wife i.e. now Ayesha before Pankhuri...and payal supporting her. Where before it was Latika. Tell me where is the creativity in this? Tell me where there is the "genius" or "brilliancy" in this? The same love story again? Really? The only differences being the religious and cultural angle...😕 I mean the fact that Adi is marrying yet again for the sake of society is making a total mockery of the institution of marriage! Does marriage hold no value anymore and its ok to marry any old girl to save her self-respect! If thats whats CVs want to portray then they have a serious problem! Its a quite frankly becoming a joke.
The talent and sheer brilliance of the actors is there with the likes of Nakuul Mehta, Disha Parmar, Manasi salvi you basically have yourselves already a hit. But the storyline needs to be strong enough and just as good to carry it forward. I still somewhere believe Pankhuri will comeback whether it be a double role for Disha which could make for an awesome track, depending how CVs portray this 🤓 or just a memory loss which seems highly unlikely because its been 3 months and Ayesha has no small recollection of her past even if she was Pankhuri...
Sorry for the long post...just had to say these points. Do post your views and comments about this current track 😳
