I was shocked at how cruel people were: Priyanka opens up about her AMA session

We know that Priyanka Chopra got a rude shock of her life when she 'dared' her fans to ask her anything on Reddit. She was bombarded with the likes of 'whether her toothpaste has salt in it', 'why a road after her father was named', 'the importance of auto-tune in her singing career', 'the logic behind Fair & Lovely and her views on fake accents as well as plastic surgery'.

In an online tete-a-tete with fans today, Priyanka was asked about this incident. When asked if she was regretful about the reddit AMA, Peecee answered, "Yes. I was shocked at how cruel people were.. Should have been more prepared to b open."

When asked if someone from her team was fired, Priyanka said, "Haha No.Will do it someday again when I'm ready to be less private."

Do you feel Peecee should have been more open during her chat session?

Why ask such a question?😕 I don't get it.

She should have acknowledged the question and if not answer there, have her PR release a statement that explains this "naming of the road after her father".

that was a good point. Does she endorse F&L?

Plastic Surgery, I can understand since there are rumours about her going under the knife.
Fake accents? Really?

Looking at these questions I found only one question to be a real valid question. Others were just plain rude and underhanded comments.

LOL, what was cruel in those questions? Rather the questions were good, even if the comments afterwards poked fun at her. I can fully imagine a journalist asking her why the road was named after her father or her views about fairness creams or beauty pageants. What was wrong in that?

'The toothpaste mein namak' wala question is such a harmless and fun question, can't believe she is calling it cruel. Bah! Be a sport PC!

This is what happens when you think your fans opinion is public opinion. 😆 She mostly interacts with her fans and her team blocks these trolls so she was always protected.

Reddit is difficult because the most popular questions/comments go to the top and it becomes glaringly obvious that if you've not answered them, it means you don't have an answer.

But most of the questions were serious. A few were cheeky. Very few were what she calls "cruel".

asking about facts is not "cruel" Pee Cee...But i had fun reading some comments in her AMA session hahhaha.

Does PC know what Reddit is like ? What an AMA actually means ? Did her people prep her ? AMA means Ask me anything and by God they will ask you anything. PC was not the first celeb to do so and nothing that was asked was rude or out of line. What is wrong with asking about her dad and the road ? Perfectly legit. If she thought that may fly in India, well many Indians were offended on this very board so I do expect others in India were as well.

Even the President of the United States is not spared when he does an AMA. Few fawned over him, what was asked were tough questions or things like the white house beer recipe (which was provided later). No one asks you to do an AMA, but if you do one you are entering the lion's den at your own risk.

PC wants to be fawned over, have a fan meet and greet, not a Reddit AMA. Rude and cruel .🤔. Live in the real world Oh BW Princess.
