Kahaani was super-hit & Talaash was semi-hit. of course majority loved Kahaani & Vidya.
but I have come across someone in real, who liked Talaash's suspense better than Kahaani. Talaash's story made more sense to him. we had argues, but in the end he was still adamant, it's Talaash for him between these 2.
that was very surprising. so, I want to know whether there are others who think similar.
personally, I loved Kahaani. I would never watch Talaash again. it was boring. mediocre performances. nothing great a suspense. rather it was stupid. and predictable too.
whereas Kahaani was super gripping. my friend didn't even want to leave her seat during interval lest she misses a second of it. end.. 👏 vidya. 👏 brilliant!!
so, yea Kahaani for me. which one do you like more? which ending/suspense made more sense to you? and why?

Kahani obviously...it is one of my all time favourites. Can watch it anytime and still the suspense is just so intriguing.
Talaash was good too...the ending was good. .but could have defenitely been better.

But stellar perfomances by the cast and supporting cast in both the films.

Talaash had a good suspense (even though I was able to guess it half an hour in advance) .. good nevertheless. That's it.
Kahaani was good throughout ... from beginning to end .. simply wonderful

I loved both of them. But if armtwisted to pick one, I'll go with Kahani- I loved the way they tied it up with the whole concept of Durga Maa/Durga Puja in the end. Brilliantly done.

Also Kahani had no songs- the narrative was crisp and the story moved quickly. I prefer thrillers without songs (though the songs of Talash are bea-utiful!) or when the songs are going on in the background and something important is happening along with it.

Kahani was an edge of the seat thriller, it keeps you engrossed every single minute.

Kahaani was much better...

one common link in these two was Nawazuddin Siddiqui who acted brilliantly in both 👏

I thought Amir-Rani were capable to do better than this.
Kareena was definitely better in her role. but climax was a let down. it was loosely tied. IMO. 😊
