This will probably be vain since you don't see it yourself, but anyhow here it is. First of all, my post was never to discuss how much trust and love Naren and Pari have devoted to nurture their relationship. Naren and Pari lied about their identities at the time when they were both strangers. Their relationship was at a nascent stage and they both had motives that would foreseeable hurt no one else. There was also no long term intention to manipulate anyone's decision nor was there a long term intention to conceal the truth. Also, please notice that I used the word foreseeable ...Pari and Naren couldn't have possibly imagined what followed - Naren meeting with an accident and loosing mental stability and then confusing Ankita for Ahana. If you think this was Pari and Naren's intention and this was all easily foreseeable to them then well, I am not going to explain this particular topic further as it is equivalent to banging my head in the wall.
Now with Ankita's lies. Ankita KNEW that if she lies to Pari that she doesn't love Naren and doesn't disclose her pregnancy, Pari will change her decision of staying away from Naren. And, I hate to repeat this over and over again, but Pari has CLEARLY asked Ankita several times about whether she loved Naren or not. Yesterday, the girl went overboard and begged Ankita for the truth on her wedding night and then finally Ankita reveals. I don't know what other effort you expected from Pari to know the truth because this girl has been practical, direct and clear. Also, Ankita had lied that she can never forget her first love, Shashank so won't you expect other people to connect the dots. Ankita has time and again lied knowing that her lies can change other people's decisions and can cause doubts/ suspicions/ confusion.
And, last your further argument doesn't counter what I have said. I don't necessarily want Ankita to go back to Naren and neither have I said that she should love him and blah blah blah. In fact, in my previous post in this thread I have said that I can understand why Ankita is doing what she is doing when only thinking about her and Naren because Naren has been inconsiderate and obsessive about Pari. Also, you are backing up Ankita for leaving Naren and strating afresh because Naren was, for the lack of a better word, a jerk but Ankita herself doesn't think so. She is constantly pining over Naren and loves him to no extent and that's why she decided to conceal to truth and lie to Pari so that Naren could have Pari. Technically, Pari has been treated like a toy that Naren really wants and Ankita will go to any extent to hand over that toy to Naren.
Also, if she was being practical, she wouldn't go to this stupid extend to make Naren happy because by doing this she is jeopardizing the future of her baby and Pari. She should have revealed everything and fought for her alimony rights to ensure that the baby has a good future. There is no need to go overboard for Naren and his happiness since he doesn't even love her. That being said, I don't really see her practical side as much as you do. I don't see how it will be much more practical to raise a child without any money or family or father's name. I am talking about the Deshmukh family or her own maternal home and father's name will have to be Naren even if he's not with them Edited by Sugar_21 - 11 years ago
