PROLOGUE
10 years since she had last seen him or should she say both of them together.
At that time he was an aspiring singer. No wonder, Geet never thought even in her wildest dream that one day she would be honored in her university through him. Well, having excelled in her studies, she was to receive her trophy by a special guest in the farewell party. But that person would be HIM, was something she didn't have in mind for sure. Having graduated in architecture, she received her prize from one of the most renowned architect in town, Mr Maan Singh Khurana. Not that she didn't know about his profession, but it always intrigued her as to why he chose this when music used to be his life.
But she was grateful that he hadn't recognized her. At that time he was 22 while she was 14. She was the normal chubby school girl and he was, well, he was the handsome guy back then as well, though she couldn't help but admit the fact that he did grow more and more handsome and looked sexier if she could say.
But Geet had changed a lot. If she was the *ugly duckling* as her sister Sameera used to tease her because of her not so Girly nature, then in 10 years, she turned into a very pretty *swan*. She had something in her which made all look at her at least twice.
As Geet was thanking everyone and delivering her speech, she could sense his burning gaze on her. If that could kill, Geet swore that she would have turned into ashes. For one second, she doubted whether he had recognised her. The moment Geet ended her speech, she hastily regained her seat. All throughout she kept checking him out and admiring him. He actually even caught her once. But when he acted indifferent and turned to the other side, Geet got the confirmation that he didn't recognize her else he would have given her that pleasant smile of his which was his trademark. However, he still had it in him to make her feel all jittery without a single word, thought Geet as she was taken back to the last time they had *met*.
