I agree to Gautham on one thing. Dev has to come out of past. He has to stop living in the sweet memories of Nithya.

He needs to know that he was not there for Nithya when she needed him. He needs to find a solution for that first. He needs to understand that his love was betrayed by him. He can win her trust only if he is able to stand up to his family and prove his loyalty to her.

But look at what fellow is doing. He has cleaned up Nithya's house. kept all the photos and thinking she will come back.

Comon Dev ye Awara Pagal Deewana hona close it. Be practical. Think logical and move ahead. Let it be that Nithya is alive. Just think will she come to you yaar. To the man who has betrayed her trust. So instead of putting effort in cleaning up her apartment put effort in solving the case.😆

Dev doesn't know where she is and what she is going to do. For him she just disappeared. He is both cleaning the house and trying to find out what really happened. So he is an APD for sure. Giving his entire life to her.

I find it all exaggerated. Where was he all these years? Didn't he know what email had been sent from his account? His account was hacked and he had no idea? No FB, Twitter, Yahoo , MSN, Skype etc., to keep in touch with Nitya?

I also find it weird that he is obsessed with Nitya but never realised what was going on at home. He never heard drawing room convos of Goenka trio? Never saw how rudely Sakshi treated his mom? Even a kid can sense at once if other adult is treating his parent wrongly.

There is no arc to Dev's character. No justification. Just sudden outburst of nostalgic obsession.

Yaa MonaAppu. I was surprised so many views. But seeing him cleaning Nithya's house, talking about the past and meantime Gautham telling Durga this fellow needs to come out of past I couldnt find a better definition for him.
