Had trailer/music not worked,we would have postponed Kick:Salman

Salman Khan's upcoming mega budget bonanza KICK is all set to release on 25^th July 2014. But very few people know that EID 2014 was just a tentative date and the film would have been postponed if the trailer and the songs would not have got a roaring response.

Salman Khan while interacting with the media said-

"We are releasing on EID this year as the trailer and songs have picked up really well. Usually songs take time to pick up and had the same being the case with KICK we would have moved ahead. But now we are coming on EID 2014."

The first theatrical trailer of KICK was launched on 15^th June and the promo got very good response from people all around the world. The theatrical trailer has become the most liked bollywood trailer on YouTube with more than 80,000 likes.

The first song of KICK, Jumme Ki Raat (Composed by Himesh Reshammiya) was launched on a Friday I.e 20^th June 2014 and even the song was received very well and is the most downloaded bollywood song of all time.

The second song of the film titled "Hangover" is sung by Salman Khan himself and was released a few days ago and the song has picked up really well.

Despite the promotion's of KICK yet to start in full swing, there is a lot of buzz for the movie amongst the audience and the trade. The movie has been sold in various circuits for Record Breaking price.

KICK also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles. The movie marks the directorial debut of Sajid Nadiadwala and the music for the film is composed by Himesh Reshammiya, Meet Brother Anjjan and Yo Yo Honey Singh.
