Mala not on Shaantanu's hitlist...?

In the final part of yesterday's episode, I observed that on the board where he has pinned all the photos of the Ranawat family, Shaantanu(the new villain) has not put Mala's photo. Doesn't he know that Mala is Rudra's mother? Or does he still think she is the thakurain of Birpur? Would Mala be knowing about him? If they use this plot line, then Mala can finally be put to some productive use against our new villain...
P.S. I must say, Shaanu-boy is not so up-to-date with his information. So much for installing cameras around the house...
